CLOSED TWSS 2017 What Did Santa Bring? (Photo thread)

So, I still never figured out who make TWSS was....but another big thank you to that individual! I just installed my present yesterday afternoon and I absolutely love them. So much in fact, that I forgot to snap an after picture.

 

255 is a great size especially where your at. They are narrower than 285’s. 255/285 is a 33” tire. If your going with a 2.5” lift I would suggest a 265x75r16 or something equivalent to that.

 

Do you think the 255 will be to much tire at only 2.5 inches of lift?

 

Yeah you’ll rub when at full lock ,and you will limited articulation until you rub. a 265x75r16 is like a 32 tire a lot of people run them. No rubbing and wone effect your MPG’s

 

I have this size tire. I want to go up to 33's but I will need to do the cmc if I want to go up in size. I've been at 265's for about 10 years ago and I'm pretty happy. I toss the idea around every time when I need to get new tires, but end up staying at 265. I will probably never go up in size either. But this is coming from a guy that doesn't follow the incrowd when it comes to Offroad stuff. I have K02's, MB wheels, Bilstien 5100's, Light Racing uppers that I bought off someone on here, stock lowers, and @Mobtown Offroad armor. I even still have the stock sound system too. So, take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I’ve herd a lot of people run 255 on stock suspension with no rubbing. So 2.5” lift should be just fine

 

Used to be more options for 17” think there still is. And if you want to put bigger breaks on you’ll want 17” so it will clear

I got the back bed rail , end caps, TRD exhaust tip and a Gopro Session 4 with extras for my 17 access cab sport

 

Looks like @override got one now that he is back and the other seems to have gone MIA (UPS doesn’t know what happened to it).

Our other one there was issues with the address and it is being Re-sent again.

I have never ran 255’s so im not sure and it being not as wide as a 285 there prob is no rubbing on the cab mount however i believe it could still rub if you articulate and stuffed it in the wheel well.

 

Can confirm. I run 255s on stock suspension. I only had very minor rub when turning all the way to one direction. Minor trim and I haven't rubbed since.

 

What I hear is you have just as much fun and have extra money in your bank account!

 

I wish that were true about the extra money part. Yes, I do have just as much fun though.

 

I would like to say at this point it is safe to assume we have ZERO bad Santas. I believe this is a first since this has begun. Our one outstanding gift is not anyone's fault, issues with the address (usually USPS can figure those out) and is being re-mailed again. @Fiesta346 you will not be forgotten and you will get something eventually.
