TX/LA dealers that will get down and dirty on price on a 2016?

Shopped all over Houston myself during October. No one even honored TrueCar pricing (which would say 2k off MSRP). Fred Haas on 45N has the most, a dozen of them at least.

I ordered a SR DC V6 4x4 through them and could only get 1k off MSRP. 6 week wait.

 

Cavender Toyota in San Antonio Texas and Charles Maund in Austin both offered me $250.00 over dealer invoice. Of course they hit me about $500.00 low on my trade.

Fred Haas told me their invoice was $978 over the TW listed invoice. I think this is the TDA fees. Sounds like $250 over dealer invoice is a good target.

37,500 truck from sparks with their POS addendum. Anyway OTD 33,038. Truck broke down with 560 miles on it.....sales manager told me he can't do anything about it breaking down because "I already went $1700 in the hole on this deal my hands are tied I gave you a good deal that all I can do." This is day 10 broke down......

Great deal easy to work with...your cooked if something bad happens........

 

What about the warranty???

What exactly broke? It would be nice to share this info here so we can all be aware of the issue.

 

They told me they could barely find part numbers I'm not certain what all the stuff means so if someone can help me out greatly appreciate it.

 

Looks like your camshaft position sensors are bad on one side. These are critical for the proper operation of the Atkinson cycle. Also something wrong with the throttle body actuator.

Sorry man, that sucks. This should definitely be covered under warranty.

Originally scheduled to be build mid November and delivered sometime before 2016. Dealer ended up calling me and stating they had one coming in with the same specs but added in:

Premium Carpet Mats (CF)
Tonneau Cover (TC)

Didn't reeeeeally want the two above items, but I'd rather have the truck sooner, rather than later. Truck is supposed to be here this upcoming week!

$37k out the door, all dealer fees, taxes, etc. included. Not as low as I had wanted, but I'm coming from a beater Chevy HHR so I'll take it. Brother in law has a first gen and I've always been a fan.

 

Just put down my $500 deposit on this truck at Fred Haas Toyota in Spring. Worked with Cristina Cedillo:

$32,995 all in for the truck + TTL

 

Oh, they have a few Tacomas in stock too!

They list 91 2016 Tacomas in inventory on their website. Holy crap!

 

Any of them 4x4s?

 

28 of them. Not sure why some are listed as "4x4" and some as "Four Wheel Drive."
