TX or CA built - Any difference?

My DCLB OR auto with all the options was built in Texas. So far at 15k my shit don't stink.

 

Tapatio is made in CA

 

They can argue all they want -- the border IS THE BORDER--period.

 

Thank you for the reminder, I totally forgot about the Nova. IMO, that was the #1 WTF in naming. I can go for a Charger being 4 doors, or Regal being a German car. But the Nova as the Corolla was just wrong.

 

I'm glad you brought me back to the light. For a second I forgot that I loved the howling diff that's already been replaced once, squeaking clutch pedal, subpar low end engine performance (bucking at 1500 rpm included), kazoo noise wind seals, rattling dash, etc.

 

Does your behavior fix the issues?

 

No but it helps aware others to the issues common to the 3rd gen.

 

Everybody already knows what's wrong.

 

My Texas built has very clean cut gravel guard lines. Thought it was keyed the first week I owned it but just dust on the edge

 

About 1500 miles

 

Mexico does not have as many robot welding machines I believe but relies on manual welding ?
