5 diamond trails (according to their website) - “and little regard for your rig’s body panels. You can expect cosmetic and mechanical damage on some of these trails”

    Stern encouragement. Neat.

I mean, what is to not like about that?

Pretty sure there is at least one 5 diamond at barnwell.

    Exactly.

Don't have the roll cage, tire size, or engine power....

We went a few years back. Left Austin at 5am, got checked into our cabin that day at Hot Springs ORV Park and went wheeling for an hour or so then the sun went down. Lit the campfire and had some venison and drinks. The next day was a blast, we hit the trails in the morning, back to the cabin for lunch and a buddy met up with us, back to the trails until dinner, then a quick night run. The following day some locals joined us for an all day run. We hit every serious trail in the park. Cabin was nice too, and only 10 minutes into town for gas/snacks/ice/drinks. I'd love to go back one day, next time not as a passenger/spotter.

That thing was fun. Brandon seemed bored because everything was easy out there. He decided he should drive up some of the obstacles backwards to make things interesting, and it did!

Also, for those guys that may be intimidated...there are easier trails out there.

We pulled the cage out of the white 4Runner a few weeks before this trip because we were going to install a better fitting cage with outriggers to the frame, but it didnt show up in time, so we did the entire park with no rollcage. Only a few hairy moments where I may have shit myself, but my friend behind the wheel is a beast.

The silver 1st gen Tacoma was on 35's with stock IFS. He had lockers and thats it. He wheeled all day with the big straight axle rigs with no problems, except for one snapped CV that he fixed on the trail. He even made some of the obstacles looks easier than the trailered rigs did. These were all level 4 & 5 trails we were on the entire trip.

Not sure why I just now saw this.

Looks like a fun time for sure!

Thinking of seeing about a cabin for the weekend possibly... if there is enough people and if it is available.

I checked with the organizers and they said that they will typically leave registration open until the Tuesday before the event, but are more than happy to have Walk Up registrations. But if you want a guaranteed TShirt, to do the preregistration so they can have an better accurate count of people.

That and they said that they are looking forward to having some Texans join them for their event!

Bumping this thread... in case some people are still on the fence.

I will be registering for the event after Jambo just to be on the safe side.

Will be a good post Jambo trip to Arkansas to do some wheeling somewhere different!
