    I wouldn't worry about the plates and just grab a buddy if you have the ability and make that mount as small as possible. Mine just fits a socket inside lol it's amazing how in the way those mounts are. Also depressing fact most 315/75r16 tires measure slightly bigger than 33" in reality... this us how I justify regear and 37s lol

    This 100%. My 255/85-16 claim to be 33.5 but really they are a little under 33. And I can’t even tell you how many sets of 44’s I’ve seen that are way under 44. One set was even under 40 lol

    Sooo continuing with my trip prep today. I poped down to Bellingham and picked up a couple road and rec atlases from benchmark maps. Missing the California one but they're bringing it in for me next week. Also started scouting some camp sites and routes. I'm getting a little anxious because my truck isn't 100% there and it's already the end of March. Not sure where my shocks and diff armour are and I still need to replace one of my skids and do and oil change and coolant flush. Just hate wrenching right before a trip I like to be better prepared than that.

    And side not my truck will be featured as part of an overland expo at the Vancouver international auto show Wednesday the 28th. Which is always kinda neat. Not gonna shine it up too much this time 150$ is better spend on trip prep lol

    @TYetti
    I am talking ECGS bushing with a friend and was wondering if it does apply to the 4cyl? I would say yes, but I've never noticed any member who own a 4cyl telling he did it... do you know something about this?

    The front diffs are all the same so it could be an issue for a 4 cyl. It may not be as prevelant in 4 cyls because it seems like less people lift them vs v6 trucks. That being said my Truck had 90,000 miles when I swapped out the diff for a regear. 84,000 of those were lifted with no issues. My truck is a 2013 so they may have solved that issue by then and it could be more of a problem with earlier trucks I don’t really know though.

    Yea it applies to all trucks 05 to current. I actually know some first gens that have the same issue as well. Mine was done but that's cause my diffs came out of a v6 truck

    Ok super lame update time. Got the routing finalized and locked in. Reserved myself a few campsites in the more popular areas just in case we get there and they're overrun. I got a trail gear universal diff armour plate. Take the word universal with a grain of salt. Took a bit of modification and hammering to make it fit nice. And I threw on some fabtech 12" travel shocks. The old iron man 4x4s were still in good shape albeit rusty just too short. And they took some persuading to get off. I would have posted some flex shots but i can't find anything big enough lol

    27" extended and I forget what they are collapsed but they're 60$
