He's running toytec boss coilovers, bilstiens in the back with Dakar springs and a shackle flip. And a bunch of fender and cab mount trimming.

The skids are mean as hell took some solid hits on the weekend barely even hurt them. It's great I just wish more people would take care and appreciate what we have. I'm actually thinking of doing a hybrid tube bumper

It's nice getting out I try and get out as much as money will allow me too during the summer lol yes the ifs skid is two parts it uses the factory holes from the cookie sheet and also you remove those two brace things and that's where the oil pan skid attaches. I use a jack to put the plates into place but the dimple die holes Line up so with a funnel contraption I won't have to take them off to do oil changes. They do sit low because they go below the cross members but I prefer it that way those x members have enough dents in them

So this weekend since work is slow and I had a lot of free time I decided to get cracking on the difficult part of my lift. Everything except the coilovers since they wouldn't be ready till Thursday... it's been a struggle and I've hit a wall I didn't anticipate on needing wheel spacers to clear the tc gussets so that's a pretty expensive unforseen cost mainly cause the canadian dollar is awful

Got the hoist fixed in the shop which has been a godsend for this project
    FB_IMG_1435421371040_20e7848a55b6443e5d4ee39df21830199c08b36b.jpg

I didn't start till like 930 pm on Friday night so I only got the one side stripped
    IMG_20150626_222227_7083bd0b31470f62876fba39c7edeaab2c508da0.jpg

Got up early Sat and headed over to thekernels place as he offered to weld up the gussets for me
    IMG_20150627_134643_1ac59abf70fbfbe95d40f5601c9c706e83222d55.jpg

Never in my life have I seen a stupider design for upper control arms
    IMG_20150627_144742_3440501a5763c6a1e5eb3a5050199dde793e8551.jpg

Then I realized I forgot a couple washers on the passenger side for the tc unit and I'm guessing the bolt is both bent and the nut ran past the threads anyways it has to be cut out and I'll have to pick up another ft long bolt
    FB_IMG_1435452597364_3bfc1325649ec0d12860f8adfbf10777988b220b.jpg

I kept going as it was really late and the bolt issue was minor till I ran into a tire clearance issue
    soo nice
    IMG_20150628_093144_caad53dea177414f3618de93a2b4bf8a89ded1f9.jpg

    Gonna make rolling hard
    IMG_20150628_102004_71b000122adda4e8f615decc09065cc533c5e2fc.jpg

So that's where I'm at a lot of messing around and some unforseen issues.... heading out to the parts store to see if they have any spacers in stock if not I'll carry on with the rear and deal with the truck Monday after work

It's always something when you start a project like that it seems... What size of wheel spacers are you looked my to get?

Gonna fix the passenger side uca and get an alignment first thing Monday unless my guy can be available on Sunday. Which gives me two weekends before I load her up for WHIPSAW!!!!!!!
