It's definitely different and I was partial to it also, but I looked aside from that when I saw the quality and protection it offers in person.

Wow that's actually pretty cool, glad to hear they took care of you.

Very Good! I was in Miami 95-2000 on Falcons and again 08-11. I got the old Miami logo that was outside the helo hanger under the Opcen windows.

I found these to be unique from everything else I could find. You can also see the matching bumper from a slightly side view.

Do these bolt to the frame or body?

These bolt to pre-existing holes in the body. The installation was simple, but this is not something I would go rockcrawling with. I do feel some side impact protection for my young daughter in the back seat. They are fairly beefy.

Don't like the stars. Why do companies have to over due it on logos on their products? I'd buy them if their name, the logo, and the stars weren't laser cut into every thing.

I'm glad you like them, I am very happy with what they offer.

I got them in three days with Amazon, check on there for them, if you do get them - please post some photos.

Here's a side view of mine. I wasn't sold on the stars either at first but like them now. I put a little 303 protectant on them and they shine up a bit too. Mall crawl ready!

Agreed. I thought about covering them with something, but now I'm used to the look. I have not seen another set in my town of 380,000 so at least I have that going for me!?!?

I wheeled with a guy June 2017 who had these on his FJ. They took a pretty decent shot and held up quite well. He is a welder by trade and was very impressed with them. I'll be adding these in about a month.

I had these on my truck for about 6-8 months. They looked great! I immediately covered up the disgusting stars with some non-slip adhesive tape from Lowes. I cut them with a razor blade and stuck them over the steps and I didn't have any issues with peeling.

I eventually traded them on Craigslist for the Toyota predator steps because I absolutely hated the height of them. They offer no assistance in getting into and out of the truck. I'm not sure who hated them more, me or my wife. They offered the appearance of a slider with non of the protection benefits and it just wasn't worth it to me to have a set of side steps without the function of a step. I did enjoy the appearance but eventually I chose function over form.

    So......today......in this crazy weather.....this happened.

My son gave me a hand and got the Tyger "slyders" bolted on. I'm now a parking lot warrior with my new armour, lol.

    Really liking these things.

Thirsty work as I was holding them steady as he bolted them on.

Our next project will be the exhaust. I want a bit more growl from my rice-fed-squirrel-powered-6-pack.

Both of my knees are overdue for replacement......the steps are something new to navigate for me.

My long legged wife, though.....had zero issues. She walked up and hopped in like she did when we were teenagers on date nights some 30+ years ago.....yes we were dating each other then, too.
