Tyger Roof Rack

Does anyone have any experience with this roof rack?

I have it on mine without any issues.

 

I been looking at this one too. I think it looks better than the hooke road and prinsu. My coworker has it and it looks really nice. The price dropped on Amazon to $449.99 at its lowest. It has gone back up since. The good news is that it is shipped and should by Amazon

 

when mounting the rack to your roof, did you cut the weather stripping into sections or cut holes into it? Mind sharing pictures of the mounting points?

 

I would have no problem using that, looks solid.

 

I just cut the trim to fit the spacers.

 

I had their side steps for a while. Okay overall. However, since you live in Colorado, drive over to RCI or Sherpa and pick up one of their racks. Currently 15% off at RCI too.

 

Looks good! Im considering this rack, how is it adding accessories to the rack? do you have to remove the slats or does it have the T-slots

 

No need to remove slats when adding accessories. It does have the t-slots for a carriage bolt.

 

What light are you running on the rack

 

It is a 42 inch Lasfit

 

How you guys licking the rack still? I was looking at it last week and am kinda kicking myself for not getting it on sale for 335. It’s still on sale for 405 at Amazon.

 

So far no issues. I’ve even added a Roam awning and it’s fine. For the price you can’t go wrong.

 

I was watching this rack for months. I was waiting for it to go back down to $450. To my surprise I saw it at $339 and jumped on it. Good thing cuz now its back to $499

 

Same! I ordered from scamazon at $499 the Tyger had it on their site for $339 with shipping n tax included so i returned to scamazon and saved nearly $200!
Took that $ and bought bed cover. Its a solid rack and no silly lead times. The prices of these simple racks are getting outta control.

 

How did you mount your awning? I have 8ft arb awning and I ordered this rack I'm thinking of using the rack to mount my awning

 

The awning came with L- brackets and it is adjustable to match the racks holes.

 

I bought these brackets just wondering how you bolt it on yours ir if I have to use a different one. if I do what type of L brackets you got.

 

Can you send me a picture when you have time? I just want to get the right one ordered so when my rack comes I can install everything one time. Thank you
