    Only two issues-
Splines...I need to find something to mate the smaller transmission shaft to the larger crawl box shaft. The adapter I have only fits the crawl box and allows the transmission splines to spin around inside because it is too big.

Other issue is the RADesigns kit that I got in the sale. It fits the crawl box flange, but not the actual factory J-Shift transfer case.

I don’t think that adapter will help you. You need a 26-23 spline adapter since w59’s have a 26 spline output shaft that’s smaller than the 23 spline that comes on a340f’s and r150/151’s

Man, good catch!! I did the worst with assuming here...I had automatically thought "Okay, bigger shaft is 23 splines. Slightly smaller shaft must be 21 splines." Called Davez- My order of several things is already out dropped off at the station so I might have to ship the return.

You're right about the 26 splines. I am going to see where I can find one of those to a 23 spline coupler.

Thank you for the heads up on that man!!

No problem, TG normally has couplers in stock...not sure if Marlin is still making a 26-23 spline coupler. I know Marlin told @rngr no last year when he was shopping duals for his W59.

    Correct! Went something like this...

Called Marlin and bought a crawler with an estimated ship date of April 2057.

Marlin called me back in a day or two and said something to effect of "Ummm, sir... That crawler we sold you... Ummm... we don't actually produce it... You need to go buy yourself a V6 Tcase..."

Me: You don't make a crawler for a 4cyl manual Toyota

    Marlin: Correct

I got my money back and had a TG case on my porch like 6 days later.

Man, that's crazy. Seriously a shame to hear this first hand- all I ever read now is about the back-order times on Marlin's products more than I hear about the products themselves.

I sent an email out to TG explaining what I am doing and need. I don't see anything on their website, but fingers crossed!

Something like this in the middle of the transmission and part availability totally takes the cake for the dumbest project hold up ever lol.

My fingers are crossed. From Nathan shortly after my initial message:

"Thanks for contacting us with your enquiry. We do indeed have a 23-26 coupler available, but I need to know who’s adapter you’re using. Primarily because there are variances between adapters that could prevent ours from being used successfully in someone else’s adapter."

I measured it and the inchworm adapter measures half an inch thick. My fingers are crossed this is compatible with their coupler.

    Good news!!

So Nathan at Trail Gear took some measurements and is pretty confident they have something that may fit. Gonna try and see what happens!
