I'll have to get that measurement and will let ya know.

Man, I'm looking forward to another Fiesta Island meet someday! I've been dying to check your truck out.

Guys, I cannot thank you all enough for all the time & feedback you guys have given me to help get past all these transmission issues these past couple months. Truck is still running strong! I haven't even started my other car in the past month. This has been the daily and weekend slayer still.

Currently waiting on my front diff and driveshaft to be finished up.

Looking to cut the chain to the counterbalance shaft probably on my next oil change.

I have a JD 32 bender on backorder to do my cab and bed cage.

I think that's it for upcoming mods. Fine tweaks will be adding a Dakar leaf to the All Pro Expo pack as well as shortening my rear bump stop from 2.5" to 2.0" stroke.

Well guys, the time has come and order has been placed...

38X13.50X17 Patagonia Milestar M/Ts which I think will be great as I daily the truck about 50-70 (s)miles a day.
Trail Ready 17's and ended up going actual beadlocks.

    Front diff arrives tomorrow.

    This will be interesting!

Well guys, I am FINALLY officially 4 wheel drive and dual locked. Just got the diff and ADD spindles in. I can't wait to test this out in the dirt, but I'm definitely going to install my lever lock holding brake before I go out on stupid stuff.

Odly enough, I can DEFINITELY feel the slight power loss from spinning the front end.

I'm fine driving around on 35s. Truck is slow but drivable. I have a feeling once I go 38s I'll probably do a low boost supercharger. I'm not interested in another motor swap. I have zero interest in making a bunch of power. I just want the truck to be "drivable" if you know what I mean and think this'll he the easiest simplest solution.

After digging around a bit I decided to order the Low Boost 3RZ Supercharger kit from LC Engineering. I think this would be the simplest headache free way to go about this. Last thing I want to deal with is pinging and engine issues related to the higher boost setups. I figure I cant go wrong with this.

Porsche 930 boots. I tie wired one side for now because the hose clamp wouldn't clear the LBJ mount. Going to order some band clamps for that.

Looks much more balanced with the 38s in the cut out fenders.

Wow, that is freaking cool! I was only familiar with the ones that twirled the wire together. For the price, I'm far better off ordering and using that with good wire that'll work for so many other things than trying to mess with those stupid band clams and crimp tool. Thanks for the suggestion Ritchie. I dig it!

Hey Tyler, awesome build! I haven’t had a chance to read through most of it yet but what really solid me is you’re using the MCM LT kit. I just installed my kit in January, Robert solid it to me also.

I am looking to regear from 4.10. Still trying to piece everything together, been thinking of swapping the rear axle out now when I regear. I see you did that as well. Depending on price/availability/fabrication between a tundra axle and a Ford 9”. I really want to stay with the 3rd member.

Anyways, love the build. I’m going to keep an eye on it, and read through it all, but I may have some questions for you in the future.

    Couple updates-

Added a Dakar leaf to my All Pro Expo pack. I am extremely happy with how the truck sits now (similar to stock rake, no more bro lean) as the Expo's sagged a gooood couple inches, and that's with going gentle on them and not inverting. With it settling down I only had something like 4 inches to full bump at that point but with a lot of droop. Now I am back to roughly 6 inches to full bump and the +-2" difference in droop. It blows my mind what one extra leaf can do. Truck is a MILLION times more responsive turning and feels great on the road. The body roll is hardly there now. It rides firm. Just hoping it isn't too firm off road at speed and has a negative response in the dirt. That is my biggest concern.

Trail Ready Rims should arrive next week, shipped half a month faster than expected which was a pleasant surprise!

Still awaiting shipment on the 3rz supercharger.

A JD Bender die arrived, but still waiting on the actual bender so I can do the roll cage.

I am looking to start valving the shocks soon. Front is okay-ish, but rear definitely needs attention. Looking to do less compression and keep light on the rebound.

Well, it rolls! Put the tires and rims together late last night. It was worth the 3 hours of sleep I got to throw these together to see these mounted up.

All I can say is I'm glad I have the Tundra brake kit sitting in the garage. Stopping with these wheels feels like stopping on an old bicycle with wet rim brakes lol

    Thanks @eccracer104!

Got the bigger Tundra brakes on today that I've had laying around forever. Stopping power feels probably around factory power now which is a HUUUGE improvement compared to before. I'm extremely happy and feel way more comfortable knowing that now.

Kinda neat seeing the changes throughout the years...

I have ZERO regrets doing what I did to the truck up to this point and am looking forward to fine tuning shocks and stuff now, but in all honesty the mid travel setup I was running before I jumped LT was wicked awesome. That setup was so dialed and ran so nicely. Only issue I had was constantly overheating my shocks pretty much every single time I went out. Everything seemed to just work so dang good.

    180758098_1407193916308570_4237850405762959034_n.jpg

JD Bender finally arrived so I'll be starting the cage soon. Once I sell my old set of wheels I'll get some front bump stops. Planning on bump stops and tubbing the firewall at the same time.

A new place I've been getting parts from like the rims, valve stacks, and other stuff is through Filthy Motorsports and both Ben and Ricardo have been wicked cool to talk with and extremely helpful. They've got some old but good videos on their YouTube too. Kartek (I think I spelled that right) is another pretty cool site I stumbled upon too if that helps anyone with sourcing stuff.
