I still want to go back and fix my first post if and when I get some time to just relax and focus on it, BUT I feel like giving some live updates of today’s work...

    Finally lift time!

    From @HeadStrong Off-Road:

    Bilstein 5100’s front and rear
    OME 887 coils
HS 1/4 driverside Taco lean spacer
    SPC upper control arms
    Heavy Dakar leaf pack

Front is almost done but I’m calling it an early night for the Taco. I’ve got other obligations with the wife’s taco. :luvya:

I also installed @ACEkraut custom low profile license plate mount that I sprayed with bed liner. It is well made, fits well, and was shipped neatly. But I realized I want to be even more flush than that, so I decided to go a different route and just put the plate right on the bumper. PM me if you want to buy the bracket.

Last thing I did today was install @rrentrop vinyl decals on my skid plate while I had it off anyway. I’m thinking with the lift it’ll look nice.

what was your thought process on choosing this coil? I have 5100 already with stock coil up front but can't decide 888 or 887

I chose the 887 because I was told that when they’re set to 0.85, you’ll get about 3”. I was told the 888 will get you about 2.75”. I’m not sure why it would work that way unless I’m missing something.

Update to my build: Finished installing the lift. The photo doesn’t do it justice but it looks great. 285/75’s are next.
