I have been on the Land Cruiser side for a long time. I have had a couple FJ40s and just recently finished my FJ62 build which i decided to sell. After the sale I spent some time browsing craigslist looking for something to fill my needs and came across this 2004 Limited TRD double cab. I took a drive to check it out and ended up driving it home! So far I have been extremely happy. These are great trucks and can't wait to start building it!

My plan for now is to just catch up on all the maintanance. I need to find some rear shocks and some other small things.

    Long term goal is
    - Front bumper
    - Sliders
    - Camper shell
    - Roof rack on shell
    - CB
    - Weather tech mats
    - seat covers
I'm sure there will be more but thats whats on my list as of now

Start digging through build threads like I did. A lot of what I'm going to do I found here in the build sections.

    No major updates yet…sorry guys.

The tacoma got new shocks, tie rod ends, bushings, alignment and balance. Rides like a new truck! I also got to test out the 4wheel drive and locker and they work awesome..not duel ARBs awesome (cruiser had front and rear ARB lockers) but i just need to get used to the mild stuff now. Man I miss the rock crawling days of the cruiser. Hopefully some better updates in the near future!

ok, i have a minor update for you guys.

I installed my CB and PA system yesterday. I still haven't really found a good spot for the actual radio unit, so as of right now it just hides under the seat. I'm thinking i will get one of the small radios and do the ash tray mod for a nice clean look. here is a little look at the cockpit..

nothing too special but its getting there.

here are some random pics from earlier today..

Who needs a rear bumper when you can just slide on those ugly dual exhaust tips?! haha i will be re routing it for more clearance and eventually a bumper.

next mod will be a camper shell and rack. stay tuned

Hey guys! its been a while since i have been on here. I decided i better post up. I haven't done too much to her lately but here's what I've done these past months..
    - Cut off those exhaust pipes
    - Took off front sway bar (this is great off road, but after a while of freeway driving i have noticed the truck kind of sways back and forth almost like a boat hitting slight waves. I will be re installing it and adding disconnects.)
    - got some Yakima towers and added my basket.

    here are some pictures

With Christmas on its way I think a front bumper is on the list. I cant really find a bumper that i'm in love with, but i think the Trail Gear bumper is my choice. I really like what Box Rocket did with his old truck. Not sure if i will go hoop-less or not..

Those are good bumpers. I have front, rear, and sliders all from TG. Just make sure you paint them really good.
