I am installing biltsein 5100 and add a leaf on my 2011 Tacoma and was wondering if you all had any recomindations for extended U bolts in order to fit the Add a leaf, a brand and where to buy them would be great thank you.

You may not need them with just an add a leaf. If you do, I have an extra set that I got from Headstrong Offroad. I ended up ordering a Ubolt FlipKit from AllPro so I didn't need the originals.

depends on the AAL. I have a single 2in aal from wheelers. Stock ubolts have about 1/4in of thread showing on my 3+1 stock leaf pack.

A 3 leaf progressive AAL will need longer ones for sure as they are probably 3/4 of an inch thick vs a single AAL around 5/16ths.

Should pull off your bump stops and check to see if your center pin is long enough too. If you are doing a single AAL anyway. 3 leaf progressive pack comes with a new pin.

It does depend on the add-a-leaf. Our single leaf add-a-leaf does not require longer u-bolts providing that the factory ones have not been modified but our 3-leaf aal does require them which is why it comes with them. It is just important to make sure that the bolt fully passes through the nut. Some people also prefer not to retorque a bolt so they like to go with new bolts regardless.

I needed longer ones because the kit also came with shims to go under leaf spring. It did however come with extended center pins so I'm ok there. thanks everyone

All I needed was a new pin for my wheelers aal. Make sure you go back under after a few days and tighten the U bolt nuts again.
