Yes, It was fairly easy to do. The difficult part was running the wiring up to the engine compartment.

I hope everyone understands that your fuel mileage is going to drop by adding this rack. After I added it and the 285/70/17 Toyo R/T's I never got north of 18MPG and hardly ever got into 6th gear.

I'm going to be selling my roof rack and I'll be posting in the for sale section with the KMC wheels and Toyo tires with 5000 miles on them, and the metal rollup tonneau cover. I sold my Tacoma.Tacoma.jpgTacoma Tonneau cover.jpg

Really don't think the rack was part of that. Running bigger heavy off-road tires was your major problem.
Tacoma getting 18mph on the highway stock was 18 in my gen 2. But I added bigger wheels and camper now I lucky to get about 15 or 250miles a tank

this might be a dead thread but I just got mine today, wind noise is still there but not as bad as i thought, the fin fits very well over the back panel and they have removed the numbers off the panels. Overall for the price this is a great deal if you need it for actual use and not just to look cool (albeit it does look pretty good). Plan on adding kayak mounts and an awning this week.
