    OK, finally made it to my local driveline guy. Let it be known that toyota has screwed the pooch on this one. Our front shafts take a COMMON 1310 u joint. All it took was 5mins of measurments. So do'nt let ANY auto parts store or dealer tell you they can not get you u-joints for your prop shaft. Bullshit! So, 28$ later my 4x4 is back! :D Hell of a lot better than 400$ for a new shaft.

    Good info!

    let it be known that a great many u-joints can be replaced with a napa or?? badged u-joint, ya just have do do some research.

    Case in point: I ride a 2003 Polaris 4x4 quad, Needed u-joints for both front and rear driveshafts. Polaris dealer wanted $55 per u-joint (4 total),,did some online research and found Napa u-joints for $15 per. Same exact u-joint as Polaris. Required rollpins for the front/rear yoke was $8.50 at Polaris (per pin). Same exact 2" hardened pin at Ace Hardware,, .75¢
