Except I don't think I could live in Socal. The water they drink is half pee pumped down from Norcal and Colorado.

Yeah but the beaches are way better down there. Plus I have family down there so that's always good. Not to mention that it's as diverse down there as it is up here.

Who knows what causes people to claim "California sucks" if they don't provide any reason or subtanstiate their claims. A bad personal experience? Perhaps they are smokers.

I don't know? Maybe because of the stupid laws and taxes and stuff, but those shouldn't really affect you if your just here on vacation. California is awesome as long as you stay away from the really populated places(although I suppose some like it) like LA, San Diego, San Fransisco and others. But there's tons of beautiful places here

x2 very good advice. I prefer the 395 route, but they are both great

    None (for now)
Cali is okay as long as you stay out of LA. They are the most incoherent or restarted people in the US. I shit you not you can go to a store and ask the white clerk where the bathroom is and all you will get is a blank stair. Sure they could be some monkey with a brain clogged with bong resin but how do you explain going to a hospital and asking the same question to four nurses and getting the same blank stair response?
A proper analogy would be: East coast has Jersey Shore while the west coast has Cali.

Not enough? Try driving there. It gives new meaning to the word parking lot.

I am guessing because smoking is not permitted indoors :notsure:

I don't think there are many States left that allow smoking indoors however... It is very nice.
