U.S. MIlitary Sleeping Bags - Various Conditions

Just picked up over 100 sleeping bag sets from the government, so I am stocked back up...get'em while you can...cost will be going up soon as the surplus market is steadily drying up with foreign buyers taking everything they can get...

I wish...they are the unicorn of sleeping bags...But, I do have some that are out of spec...These "out of spec" sleep sets measure up to 6' 6" inside on the intermediate bag (which is the limiting bag) and I have sold them to people that fit them up to 6' 4" comfortably. If you decide you want to give it a try, I will be happy to go through my sleep sets and find one for you.

 

On these out of spec ones are they new or used?

 

I know I have some in Excellent Condition (go to the first post of this thread for the "official description" of Excellent), I would not want to guarantee I have new ones that are out of spec...

 

I have been following you for a while and wanting to puck one up. It just hasnt been high on the priority list. Your in Front Royal correct? If so do you ever get south or Harrisonburg are? I live almost in Staunton and would probably be willing to meet or come to you to save on shipping. When I do finally pull the trigger.

 

I do not get out to Harrisonburg very often...but, I'll be honest, USPS ($10.50) Priority Mail would be cheaper than either of us driving...let me know what you decide...

 

I just got in a bunch of sleep sets fresh from the government...they are all ready to go...Included in that batch are a few oversized sleep sets...2 that will fit people with "wide shoulders" or large upper bodies (like me) and one that will fit someone up to 6'3" tall...At this time, all the patrol bags look new with the factory hang tag on them and the bivy covers look like they have never been used (Excellent and Unissued bags only)

Are you able to sell pieces? I have both sets, minus the Goretex bivy. I would like to get two of them if possible.

 

Yes, we do sell the parts separately...The BIVY COVERS sell for $65 each plus shipping...The condition is "Unused"...this means unissued, perfect condition...no holes, all zippers and snaps work perfectly...Let me know if you have any other questions.

I found a couple of new sleep sets in one of my larger boxes of sleeping bags...There are only 3 and I have them listed on E-Bay too (which means they will go super fast)...If you want one jump while they are available...
