I bought this vehicle with a good title but it was torn apart, literally on the inside and needs quite a bit of body work. When I picked it up, every module was ripped from the vehicle and it only had seats, carpet and wiring. Even the headliner was ripped out. - aftermarket Katzkin - aftermarket rear heated seats - upgraded sound system - Dynamat throughout.
Auto headlights are fixed! It was the starter.

The Toyota dealership installed this garbage Compustar. I ripped it out and put in Viper, and connected my older smart start. I can now check on my truck, start it, lock and unlock it from anywhere in the world now. I set up 3 presses with the factory fob to start as well.

Hazard light.... Still a no go!

Have you tried by-passing the switch?

The switch is part of the A/C panel, not an easy removable one.

Yeah, I have to take that whole assembly apart. Haven't done that, yet, no.

I could maybe unplug the harness and jumper it, but not sure how comfortable I am with that. Wouldn't you any to accidently jumper the wrong pin. A lot of stuff goes through that connection.

No dash has been all back together for a while. Just missing the headliner.

I can take the module out easy enough. That's quick.

But it's all one assembly. HVAC, heated seats, defrost, display hazards, etc.

That assembly has screws so I think I can take it apart but not sure of that's a good idea or not.

Remove it enough to place a jumper to ground on the connector A33 pin 4. Test that it's not the integrated signal/hazard module inside the C0mbination Meter.
