Hi, I'm seeing these ubolt flip kits for sale and I'm trying to figure out the pros or advantages of doing this. Can someone fill me in? What is the reason for turning the ubolts over?

It gets rid of the ugly ass OEM rock catcher that hangs dangerously low on the axle. And it looks cooler :bananadance:

    This

    And this.

Plus it isn't that expensive too do. I hated the OEM one cause it helps corrode the axle tube.

I like the look of it as well. I would only bother doing it if you did a whole leaf pack swap or asked the shop to do it during the recall.

I installed the @allpro kit on mine with the Timbren bumpstops. Easy install and looks much better than the factory setup.

I wheel pretty hard and NEVER have had any problems with the factory ubolts getting hung up or bashing the ends into anything. The only benefit is to mount wheelers superbumps.

Thanks it all works dreamy. They are Wheelers Super Bumps, made from a polyurethane mold. I like them a lot.

Tell me about the whole set-up, please. What flip kit and bumpstop bracket. I have the superbumps on the front and would like this set-up for the rear, but need to know exactly what to buy.
