Hey guys. First post here. I don’t know a lot about suspensions. I plan to add deaver stage 2 with R4t durobumps ubolt flip kit to my stock (as far as suspension goes) 2020 trd pro. I carry about 800 to 1000 pounds permanently so it should put me around stock hight in the rear. I am wondering what length flipped ubolts I need for Deaver stage 2 thickness? Thanks!

your state allows brush wire use on road? most ubolt flips i've seen have an extra inch of bolt after the nut so it seems ubolt flip kits will work with a thicker aftermarket leaf spring.

Do you mean the limb riser wires? Why would they be illegal in any state? Is that a thing? Also for the flip kit just hoping not to have to cut any bolts so hoping someone who has deaver stage 2 will be able to tell me what they did for the flip kit length

You can just call Deaver and they'll sell you the appropriate length ubolts. They'll also sell you springs directly if you want to go that route

X2 don't buy all these parts from someone that cannot point you in the right direction with what you need.

Deaver makes a great product, however they carry OEM style u-bolts that will not work with a u-bolt flip kit.

Do you plan on getting longer shocks to match that leaf pack/lift height? Match those shocks/leaf pack to the correct bump stop height?

Deaver sent me ubolt-flip-compatible ubolts when I bought some u402's from them a few months ago. All I did was specify that I had a flip kit.

Right on, doesn't surprise me they helped you out with what they have on hand. There are no SKU's available for us to reference.

I think he wants stage 2 so he can support that weight at stock height. Stage 3 would give him a lift with the weight

I am fully aware of how Deavers works. I am not planning to replace the shocks to compensate the lift so I am trying to compact the stage 2 to regain stock height on my trd pro shocks. I don’t want to over extend my shocks with stage 3.

Also my limb risers don’t just look good at the gas station but even better on the tight rocky class 6 trails in New England with low hanging branches beating the hell out of my windshield. It’s all functional. Not cuz it looks cool.

yes I had called Deavers to help me with deciding on overloading the stage 2 to regain stock height. When I asked about flip kits they said they didn’t offer one and he wasn’t sure what length bolt for flip kit when I asked.

I’ve done 1000’s of trails, never once broke a windshield from a tree branch, how long to get the hood open?
If it works for you, it doesn’t matter what the internet idiots (me) says. Nice rig.

I think I would listen to the stage 3 suggestions, again, just me.

You must not be driving on tight enough trails with thick branches...I don’t like branches hitting and scratching my windshield whether it will break it or not. It takes no time to just unclip 2 wires and throw them on the roof rack so takes 10-20 seconds to open my hood. Also I don’t even like the way those wires look but they definitely have function. 90 percent of this trucks movement is in the trails. It’s an offroad toy truck lol

I have stage 3 with @ARCHIVE flip kit. They are or used to be a dealer for Deaver, so they can definitely help you.

I got the Durobumps flip kit. Kinda wish I went with Archive but I had already ordered the Durobumps when I found out about Archive. I have everything installed and am wondering if these Ubolts are too long. Is there too much thread showing after the nut and should I cut them shorter? I imagine it’s possible if I bottom out hard enough the bolts could hit the frame? Or is this all fine?
