first off Im new here to the forum but a long searcher on this website. I recently installed a 3" toytec lift on my 07 Tacoma 4x4 Trd Offroad and Total Chaos UCA's. I have 885 springs on the truck and bilstein 5100's all around with the front being set at 1.75". So thats a total of about 4.75" up front. Im having an issue where my uca's seem to be at/near full droop and on the passenger side uni-ball is actually hitting the control arm, left nice mark in it from hitting.

any ideas on how to resolve this?

    lower the 5100's to .85" or 0"?

anybody else have a similar setup without issues?

Ive tried searching for an answer to my problem but cant find an exact answer that helps, but i did notice that i seem to be the only one 4x4 with 3" lift coils and 5100's set at 1.75" which leads me to believe the 5100's may be my issue

    Thanks in advance

4.75 is way to high for a 4x4 lift.once you go past 3 inches. You need a drop bracket lift. Should check your angle of your cv axles. If you drop it down to 3 inch or lower, it will correct the problem you are having

Thanks for the info. Forgot to mention that I have a 1" differential drop on my truck as well. and the cv angles are way replaced the passenger side twice and now have to do the driver side.

Do you think I could get away with setting the 5100's to .85" or have to 0 them out?

I ask bc I have 285/75/16 on my truck

    That's your answer^^

But even with a one inch diff drop. At 4.75 inchs that's why you are changing cv so often.
I have 70k on my truck and never replaced my axles. Then again I'm 6 inch lift with a drop bracket

Yeah way to high for 4x4 I have mine at 0 with 885s and all pro standards in the rear running 285 70s and that's perfect any higher get a drop bracket or a 2 wheel drive

I have the tsb springs with 1.5" AAL.

Good to know that your able to clear that tire size. I'm not opposed to doing some trimming if need be
