.. coils say 885X and he’s running a spacer on top of that. So, probably 3” lift.

Tires on the ground, and yeah from what I’ve read I think it’s the three inch lift.

General consensus is anything 3 inches of lift and up needs high caster UCAs

CV angles are usually what people are concerned about. If its too high the boot fins will rub and wear themselves out (plus CVs are generally weaker at big angles).

Beyond that its just a matter of having a harsh ride if you got too much lift

I think you're missing a grease fitting on that UCA, no?

Anyone know if the spacer at the top is removable? would rather just drop it a half inch then have to deal with the UCA and cv angles

It's not the angle, the caster is probably way out. I know when I lifted mine the front end felt like it was floating all over the road until I installed aftermarket control arms..

Can a alignment help that? Is the only route new UCA?

With 3" of lift an alignment is going to be tough to get caster in spec. I tried - didn't come close, others may have had success. YMMV.

    Is that
Doesn’t look to me like the spacer is removable, any idea? Thinking that might make it a bit better till I have the money for control arms.

How does it currently drive at highway speeds?

Not familiar with that setup - so can't tell if it's removable or not.

Looks removable to me. You’ll be able to tell after you take the coil overs out.

The uca angles don’t look horrible to me.

you’ll need an alignment if you remove the spacers.
