Uniballs are generally more expensive than the standard ball joint UCAs, hence why the SPC's are less expensive. It's not that they're "cheap". They're two different kinds of UCAs.

I have JBA UCa's and they are beefy. Great upgrade over stock. But man, daily driving with these UCA's has been amazing, and I'm going to be taking them to Rausch Creek soon too.

For reference I've been running stock UCA's on my lifted tacoma and it drove fine, but with higher caster numbers the truck drives better than stock

    Also, sub $500 as well

Ive decided on ball joint UCAs because its maintenence free and from what ive read they dont make noise. They are a bit cheaper and fix the alignment to save my new tires.

I gotta throw this out there.....

Well ive been waiting very patiently to get my new UCA's. I got my new tires back in September. I needed new UCAs. I shopped around. Found a local guy who said he would build me some. It was a good deal and mine would be the first set for the Tacoma from this company. Thought it was kool. I was being told its an easy project. Only take a day to build..... the problem was that he was to busy and it was bad timing. I understood that. It was show season....SEMA...and others I guess. So I waited. And waited. Finally got my truck into his shop to get measurements and what not to build them later. Kool we were gettin somewhere. This was just before Thanksgiving I think. All along the way ive been calling and stopped in the shop a few times. Nothing has happened. Only been told that they are being worked on. Everytime I call I never get a call back with the exception of when I had my truck in the shop. That day he called to ask me to get my truck out of there..... one other time I think I was able to actually talk to this guy. Other than that its been a message with the secretary or sales guy. Everyday last week I called and got this answer... busy, at lunch, on the phone, I dont know pretty much, he will call you back....Same so far this week.

I havent drove my truck since I got new tires. Needs an alignment first. Dont wanna do it until I get my UCAs. Its really starting to get to me. Ive let it go on for so long because of the price of the UCAs I cant beat with them installed.

Ive been eyeballing Camburgs balljoint UCAs. But for the price of these id have mine installed. So with Camburgs id have to pay someone to install them. I dont think im able to do it my self. Well I dont want to. And do not want to pay someone to do it.

Anyway I felt like ranting here since I just called them three times today. And saw this thread. So far I dont recommend CALMINI products for great customer service. Im beginning to think he used my truck just for the measurements needed to build them so he can sale these UCAs.

I just wanna drive my truck again.
Move this rant if need be.

Added Dirt King to the list. Now you added yet another new term I know nothing about. Non-heimed vs. heimed? WTF is that? I thought it was confusing enough dealing with ball-joint and non-ball-joint. lol

That's awesome! We can meet up if you want to check out my UCA's. I prefer ball joints for our north eastern area. Less stuff to maintain during and after winter, or even trips to Rausch.

Are you able to read? I said most of the people who run them have zero issues, and that they're a very widely used brand here on Tacomaworld. They're a quality, budget-friendly option for someone who needs to get alignment back in spec. If others have the money or need to run more expensive UCAs, then good for them. Different people have different needs and different budgets, hence the reason there are different options on the market.

I'm not saying SPC are better in any way other than adjustability, but they were affordable and I don't have a need for a uniball at this point. If I start breaking balljoints I'll consider another arm. Those Baja arms are pretty damn nice

SPC Performance (Specialty Products Company) makes the Light Racing UCAs. So you have them listed twice.

But if I was not the one who originally said it and it was in fact never actually "said", only posted in a gif/jpeg on the internet....does that still make it offensive?
