UCA for drop bracket lifts?

    Asking for a friend.. but does one need aftermarket upper control arms if they install a drop bracket based lift kit?

    No, the geometry is actually pretty good with DB lifts. Sometimes the bigger coil can hit the ball joint, but its very rare.

    If you look at a DB lifted truck the arms are fairly level, and if you look at a 3" lifted tacoma the arms are angled heavily down, same with tie rods.

    Typically the biggest pain is you need 17" rims or bigger due to the new knuckle.
