This could be like one of those "Linux vs. Windows" kind of questions: Total Chaos vs Light Racing UCAs.

Looking for good and bad on either.

From my information gathered so far your main difference is a stock ball joint and the uniball. Uniball allows for greater travel and performs better but at the cost of increased maintenance and they can sometimes squeak. Ball joints on the LR's are easier to maintain but they can bind on longer travel and don't perform as well. I never really considered LR, I am still looking heavily at Camburg's Moog joint UCA or Total Chaos uniballs.

At full droop my LR UCA ball joints do not 'bind' and still have more travel left in them. Thats with ICON 2.5" ext travel coil overs.

I had the LR's and suffered through the bushing problem. Broken weld etc. Then the ball joints died and that was all I could take with their junk. Switched to TC and couldn't be happier with them. Not a single problem. Smooth and quiet

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I am considering trying the 250 ebay ones just to see what you get. They look exactly like TC knock offs.

Do you have the TC uni balls? thinking about getting these. How was the install? And I don't know anything about alignments so getting aftermarket uca's, you still can take it to a shop to get aligned and they will know that to do?
