Truck is 2017. Old man emu uca’s and toytec aluma series coilovers. Had it all on around 20k and just this week picked up this sound when braking or taking off. One local Tacoma owner said uca bushings in the old man emus are something to watch for. Any help or insight would be appreciated!

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
Have you greased the ball joint? Pretty sure there’s a zerk on those.. check torque to UCA through bolt? the lower bushing on the coilovers can/may need replaced although mine seem to squeak rather than make that sound..

Oh yeah should’ve mentioned that as well! I have checked all bolts as well as greased the ball joint.

The upper ball joint looks it not sitting flush to the UCA. Castle nut for Upper ball joint loose, or fall off? Hard to tell, unless you remove tire.

kinda hard to tell if its the uca or not. I have the same uca's, and have had no issuses. I thought the bushings were supposed to be maintenance free, and lst the lifetime of the uca? i could be wrong though.

Yeah I checked those and both sides are the same, they sit like that on both sides. Castle nut is still there and tight. Rechecked it as well.

So my reasoning for it being the uca is that I can almost see it move when it happens up close. Video you can’t see it but I can also feel it through it.

Yeah I’ve read that as an option too so about an hour ago I went and rechecked all the bolts. Unless it’s a bushing on it that I can’t see is damaged. They all look fine.

It's the bushings. You really won't be able to see it. Mine does it every morning. I torqued the bolts to factory # and they still do it

Rock Sliders that I fabricated.
When you installed your UCA’s, did you torque the bolt when the truck was still on the jack or after you let it down? If up, this could cause binding on the bushings and cause them to wear out faster.
