Going with the eibach lift second notch.

seems some get new uca some don’t.

Thought I may should while everything’s apart.

I see headstrong has SPC and a few others with their eibach packages (no jba)

I’m new to this. Is spc good? Over jba or other brand?

Go with the SPC and set it to setting "F" or "G" and use the UCA's to get you camber dialed in correctly. You should have no problem fitting 285" tires on a set of 9" wide wheel with about 4.75 Back Spacing.

For wheels I’m looking at the fn 5 stars 16x8 -25 3.52 back space

    these should be ok?

I'm running 2" now and I still contact the coilover on full droop. Just waiting on my SPCs. With 2.5" lift the UBJ overextends and causes it to loosen up. Most people that think it's okay don't know exactly the issues they are having till way later when they can't get another alignment and see damage on the coil. Or they are mall crawlers that see no more than flexing on a curb.

I have SPC on my 4runner and they’ve served me well. I would recommend them. I’d get UCA’s since you’re already going to be in the area and that you’re going to be on the threshold of the 2.5 mark.

i run SPCS, but wish I modded them to have the zercs on the mounting knuckles where the bushings are. Zercs are helpful there for lubrication without removing them from the vehicle…easy mod to do with a drill and self-tapping zercs

+1 for JBA. Quality is fantastic and much simpler to install and maintain and support than SPC.

The new SPC's use a different type of ball joint that doesn't require preload.

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
I have been quite happy with the JBA's. About 9 months about 5k miles. Light off-roading, mostly city driving.
That red powdercoating is hot. Like catching a glimpse of lingerie...
ok, back to trucks. Had them installed and aligned with the lift. no issues since. Zerks easily accessible.

SPC for sure. Hard to beat the adjustability. And I don't really like the exposed uniball design.
