    Hey everybody,
I'm sure this question has been asked before, but what the hell. I'm going to lift my truck 3 inches and go with 285/75/16 tires on stock wheels and I was wondering if that wheel and tire combo will rub on the UCA? My rims are the 16 inch double-three spoke.

They will rub! You'll need 1.25" wheel spacers to clear the UCAs if you intend on running you stock wheels....after market UCAs will be needed too so your alignment can be true

Thanks for the info. That's crazy I didn't think I would have to buy aftermarket uca's just to get the alignment to specs.

No problem man...the Stock UCAs can only adjust so much. I recommend Light Racing UCAs. They have a fully adjustable Balls Joint perfect for Daily Driving and Mild Off Roading...if you intend on doing some hard core wheeling and stuff like that a uni-ball UCA would be better...such as Total Chaos ;)

Then the Light Racing UCAs are perfect for you and their more inexpensive than the Uni-Ball applications

I installed the 3 inch Toytec lift and the camber was nearly perfect. Only had to adjust caster which was only out on the driver side.

So you're getting 2.6 degrees or so of caster with a 3" lift and stock ucas? Impressive, must be a good alignment shop.

The alignment was actually done at a Toyota dealership. The had the latest and greatest of alignment machines. I watched to whole thing and was pretty amazed. It also helps when your friend is the one doing the alignment.:)
