I installed the kit from @HeadStrong Off-Road but im still a little squirrely on the road so I'm assuming it's that.

    Thanks!

How much did you lift the truck? Sis you replace UCAs? Tire size? Stock or aftermarket wheels?

Lessen preload. I don’t know why anybody uses 5100s for a lift height that requires UCAs and you’re spending more on UCAs than the entirety of the lift kit.

    Didn't preload.
My truck went up 3.5 inches in front and 2.5 in rear because of sag.

I don't have the printout but it was borderline like 1.4 I think.

So you have 5100s set at 0 and 3.5” of lift? If that’s the case, you bought the wrong lift coils too. If you’re at or above 2.75” you almost assuredly would need UCAs. At 3.5” your front end is going to ride like shit.

Check and make sure you don’t have the spring seat upside down.

Okay sorry this is what I have for you.

I bought the Bilstein 5100 with OME 885 springs from Headstrong offroad because my suspension was sagging from having 140k miles on them.

When I installed the lift I ended up with a 3.5" lift in the front and 2.5 in the rear.

I took it to the alignment shop and they told me it was borderline at about a 1.4 and they would suggest UCAs eventually.

They are a little wandery while I drive, not horrible but noticeable.

Yep, with that caster number it will feel like crap. You’re
gonna want at min 3 degrees preferably 4. I run jba ucas and 4 degrees of caster.

I’ve had zero issue with my jba’s. They come with 2 degrees of caster built, my alignment guy had zero issue getting 4 degrees of caster. I definitely would suggest/recommend getting them.

I have zero idea how it went more than 2.25.
Im assuming the front shocks and coils were sagging like shit and that's why it ended up being that much.
I have them both set to 0

So you saying 3.5” over what you had. So if your original springs were sagging an inch really it’s 2.5 “ of lift.

Well you say you got 3.5”’of lift what are you basing that on, did you take before and after measurements, or you actually have no idea.

    I did.

But I also had 5100s instead if 885s.

Also running a 33" tire was rubbing frame and front bumper.

Some people can get away without a Cmc and uppers somehow lol
