Then you need to go back and get a proper alignment, cus that tech didnt spend but more than 5 minutes adjusting toe. There is NO reason you should have positive camber if you are running proper uca's

already talked to them and they are going to take care of it tonight and ill pick it up in the morning. just need to decide on what numbers to tell them to use. I'm running ST MAXX 255/85/16's.

the thing i was really curious about were the rear numbers. i can't think of a reason that the toe numbers would be so off from one another.

I wouldnt worry about the rear, they likely didnt take the time to properly measure them as you really cant do anything about them (other than MAYBE moving the thrust angle by loosening u bolts and using the small slop in the center pin and axle to shift things forward n back)

i was thinking it was just the tech being sloppy when he set things up.

    -.15 Camber -.15
    2.4 Castor 2.4
    .05 Toe .05

those look like good numbers to tell them to set things out?

Those will be great numbers. Dont let him bullshit you into different number to account for "road crown".... Identical numbers per side or your money back.

the service advisor there is great, she had no problem taking the truck back and letting me pick my own numbers. apparently she already thinks the tech who worked on my truck is a douche lol.

i was thinking a cam bolt on the front leaf mount would allow adjustment of thrust angle wouldn't it? doesn't seem to hard!!!

It would but you wouldnt want a sliding joint there. Way to much force directly inline with the sliding joint for it to stay put.

Looking for alignment recommendations for my rig with below specs which are approximately 3in of lift all around from factory height.

I have a 2011 longbed with the following setup:

    FRONT:
    OME nitrocharger sport shocks
    OME 885 coils
Toytec top plate spacers 1/2- 3/4in lift
    Light Racing UCAs
    Diff drop

    REAR:
    Dakars in rear
    OME rear shocks

    TIRES:
285/75/16 Toyo Open Country AT II

I have attached the first alignment I had done at time of lift and another one I found from a later date. Tech said my tires are "chopping bad". Was riding fine until a week ago or so, but now getting a wobble in steering wheel at about 60mph and 80mph. Goes away mostly below or in between those speeds.

    Thanks in advance!

    AC

I would not blame the alignment for the wobble. Look at your tire balance, ect.

Realistically you want camber at 0. Toe at -.10 and caster at 1.5-3.0*.

Tech should've been able to get at least 3* of caster from those arms.

Thanks for replies! Need some last minute tips trucks going in tommorow 2pm.

So I should ask for Camber 0, Toe -.10 both sides front and rear of truck?

Also, 1.5 to 3 degrees Caster is a fairly big window range. With light racing UCAs what would be optimum? Should I ask for as close to 3 degrees caster as possible both sides of truck?

    Thanks!

If you don't mind, what numbers should I be shooting for for camber/caster/toe/etc if my truck is just leveled and not lifted 3'? I had some tire wear issues that seem to be fine now after re-alignment within factory spec, but I would like to ideally be able to dial it in a little bit more. Thanks guys

Attached photo is what I ended up with today after alignment. Really happy with how it drives so far. On highway it tracks real nice and steering is very responsive with no wander or any negatives I can feel so far at various highway speeds up to 85mph. Gave tech what ballparks I wanted for caster, camber and toe. With LR UCAs they could have probably gotten more caster closer to 3 degrees, but I like how it is right now so far. Maybe next alignment I will find a better shop that specializes in alignments and shoot for a bit more caster. Gave him LR adjustment instructions. Only issue I have is he said he didn't do much adjusting at upper control arms but rather at lower arms. Does anyone see any issues with that?

Camber and toe up front didn't seem to suffer as a result unless I am missing something...

Not sure if what they did in the rear is good, but it's driving nice so that's a good sign!

In the market for UCA's for a 2014 tacoma. Just got a full 2.5" ADS lift with dakars in the rear. What do you all recommend for a good strong UCA in the year 2017? Everything I keep reading is from like 2009.
