Just placed my order with HeadStrong Off-Road for some Light Racing UCA's. I know they are out of the office until the 4th but they had the best price, plus I had a coupon/offer through PayPal that discounted my cost even more. :bananadance:

When getting alignment should I already have the desired tires/wheels installed before?

Howzit! I did my alignment at goodyear after i installed my uca. They was able to get my caster to 2.3-2.4 but my camber is 0.9 in the red. They told me if they put the camber in the green the caster is off. Same if caster is green the camer is off. Do you know of any other way to make them both green? Mahalos

    My current setup:
    *Fox 2.5 700lb
    *T.C. UCA
    *Gdyr mt/r 305 70R16
*hub to fender 24" "no flares"
Now I see alot of people have caster set to the mid 2's. Just got mine done. Not sure this is good or not with a smaller than 35" tire. Rides good Just done close to T.C. recommended spec. Maybe too much caster???

I got my truck lifted today. 5100s at .85 with eibachs so I got about 2.5 up front. Had light racing UCAs installed as well. Went and got an alignment and these are the numbers guy gave me

    Caster left 3.8/ right 4.0
    Camber left 0.9/ right 1.0
    Toe left .05/ right 0.0

Does this look okay? The high caster (from what I understand) has the wheel sitting further back in the wheel well. I'm not hitting mud flaps and I'm not tracking left or right since they are almost equal. Do I leave it at these numbers?

And what about camber and toe?

I'm thinking the tech had no idea how to adjust my UCAs and just tried to get me outta there. Any advice would be awesome.

How much does caster affect wheel position? I switched from an OME kit to Icon with uppers. Now I get rubbing on rear plastic and cab mount. No change in tire size.

They put my caster at 1.4 and 1.8. From this thread I see that 2.4 is more desired. How much wil that actually move my tire forward? If it's not much I don't want to go pay another 70 bucks for nothing.

If there is more positive caster available it will bring the tire towards the front of the vehicle. What is the camber at currently? Which uppers do you have?

Icon tubular? They might have to fudge camber to get your caster higher.

    Thanks. Yep tubular.

Which way on the camber? I hope not more positive. Coming from a "stanced" car as my last vehicle I have a hard time looking at 0.6 positive camber.

That's usually the case. If you could post pictures of your lower control arm alignment tabs we could know for sure. Driver or passenger side.

Here are some pics. I fluid filmed it a couple days ago and my phone will not focus on it. I'm guessing it's because it's so glossy. I took about 20 and these were the best ones. This is the driver side looking forward at the two bolts.

It looks like they can't take out anymore camber, but they can add caster which will likely bring your camber slightly higher.

Heading to get alignment tomorrow. I currently have a 2014 dcsb with ome kit and all pro off road Uca.

Should I shoot for 0 camber and toe and 2.4 caster?

So what UCA would you all recommend for my 04 doublecab with a 3" toyotec/bilstein ultimate lift, 33" BF goodrich MT's and a maxed out castor of -0.4?! Is there an option that will correct this that doesn't cost 600.00??! I'm cheap:D

My guess is a competent alignment tech. Unless your shit is bent or your cams are seized you shouldn't have negative caster. It will be low, but not negative.

Got my suspension installed yesterday and got my alignment done earlier today. If I'm not mistaken my rear toe readings should be opposing correct? ie one at .25 one at -.25

Any idea what could be causing them to be so off?

get some UCA's.... positive camber like that is gonna look funky and have the outside of your tires wearing faster than the inside, caster looks decent, but if you did some proper camber (-0.2*ish) your caster numbers will decrease quite a bit.

Toe should be right around 0.05-0.1* of TOE IN PER side.
