    Just being curious....

Will the ucon flex ems offered from*urd*work on stock trucks? Will it provide any improvements or is it really just for supercharger or turbo charged truck?

What if I were to install an exhaust, urd header, maybe an intake, would the ucon ems provide any better improvements over the maf cal to be worth the money?

My dad had a high end tuner for his diesel he can put in different tunes for more power, fuel economy and what not, is the ucon ems a similar thing but for the 1gr-fe of course.

The UCON will definitely benefit a naturally aspirated truck. You could probably get 20 wheel horse from just the UCON alone.

Well you pay $4500-$5000 for the TRD supercharger and get like 60 hp. Pay $1395 for 20 hp on just a stock truck sounds like a good deal.

That $4500-$5000 better come with a mail order bride. Forget the blowie. She better clean house for that price!

Gadget just emailed me back actually and said this.

Yes, it works great on a stock truck.

The UCON is self tuning. *Nothing else like it.

It is the most advanced tuning device you can use on your truck.

For N/A trucks we have three levels of performance. Stage 1 for trucks with cats, stage 2 for trucks without cats, and stage 3 which is a race tune and combined with our intake, and complete exhaust will get in the 60 HP range.

Gadget would know better than myself... but I'll believe 60 when I see it. I've been dabbling with the idea of buying a UCON. Too bad im broke! :p

60 flippin horse? If it's that much gain I would actually buy it myself. No blowie necessary. I understand that sorta offer is a "while supplies last" kinda thing. If that's actually to the wheels and not at the flywheel I will buy one!

60 with there full exhaust setup and intake not sure if full exhaust is headers also? I could see 60 with there headers and full mk3 exhaust if that's what he is talking about and the intake

Lol, well yeah, for that much power. Who needs blowies when you got more BRRRAAPPP time?!

I really can't see a full cutback utilizing any more power then a stock one would. Even if the stock piping is 2.25" (I don't remember what it is) It should be more then suffice for our stock 236 HP. Hell it is actually capable of supporting well over 230+ HP anyways. I can't really see the headers being that restrictive either. The stock intake has plenty flow for what the engine is also, so really all that leaves is increasing the duration the valves are open via tune and the supplied cam gears.

Well its been proven that urd headers do increase horsepower and torque same thing goes for there y pipe.

How much horsepower and torque are we talking here? I believe it, but is there any dyno's to prove it??
