Well after 2 15 mile trips the light is on.
    O2 FAIL 2.jpg

But it looks like it is really close to passing
    O2 FAIL.jpg

So I reinstalled the URD sim with the vibrant sim and I'll see how it goes. I should of looked at the values with the URD sim alone.

I will be taking the same trip tomorrow and Saturday it takes 3 cycles to actually fail so by Saturday I should have an answer.

Also if this fails to work I will abandon trying to use a Sim and just wait for OVtune to get rid of the light.

Too bad you don't have some unused cats that you could remove material from, to put in the j bungs.

Well I put about 110 miles on it since I put the two sims on and it has still not completed it's checks. It seems when the URD sim is installed it takes allot longer to complete. I have at least 4 trips from complete cool down.

I wonder how the URD sim goes about fooling the ECU? It just seems weird that with just the Vibrant with in 45 miles 3 15 mile trips it would set the light, and with over 100 and 4 trips with the URD its still incomplete.

I imagine it true, but will ask anyway. You have gone over 60 MPH yes?

That seems really weird to me as well. I know my '97 Bimmer was slow to come online. Even then, it only took ~50 miles.

These URD o2 sims are the same regardless of truck year for 1grfe. It’s just the models 12-15 giving problems? Wonder if they are problematic for the 2008?

Wonder what is causing the o2 sim not to work in the later models?

From what I read they are the same for all 1gr tacoma and it is only the 12-15 having issues. when I ordered it there was no selection made as to year.

Well I guess I won't be selling mine, things are looking up.

Hopefully a few more trips will yield more good results.

The fact that the permanent code is gone shows this is a good fix.

Im not there yet, just got it in January. Still deciding between a turbo or supercharger, leaning towards the charger. I am still getting this up to my standards as a daily driver, I have the XII drop, DTLT headers, had to get new tires and new TPMS sensors installed. I like to get it looking good first so I will probably get some new headlights and taillights first, then repaint. The warranty is finished this year so after that well start some power mods.

Which supercharger? I’m really considering the e750 vs the e2000.
