I'm going for Machida in this one because I think he's too technical for Rampage. Rampage won a lot of his fights off of countering guys who left themselves wide open during exchanges. I don't think he'll be able to do that to Machida. As for the co-main, I gotta support my fellow islander, Penn. Although this is going to be a giant mountain for him to climb, coming off of 2 consecutive losses to a cardio machine and now jumping up in weight to face another cardio machine, it'll be interesting to see the kind of shape he's in and how much he wants to continue doing this. He is definitely the most gifted natural fighter that I have seen (he can beat most of those pros in his worst shape, just not the top tier guys) and I'd love to see him make another run. Go get 'em Penn!

I think Rampage is gonna get worked honestly. I'm a HUGE Matt Hughes fan and I think this fight will come down to conditioning...If Penn is in good shape and can stay on his feet I think he has a chance...but, if he's soggy and Matt takes it to the ground I he's gonna get a beating. Penns stand up is phenomenal...Hughes not so much

    Machida-Hughes FTW

rampage vs machida - Machida, much more well rounded EDIT: now that i think about it i'm not so sure about this one anymore. Rampage is extremely experienced and has seen it all. All he needs is one opening and one punch to win. I'm now saying 50-50 on this fight.

Hughes vs Penn - Penn for sure. I used to really hate the guy, but the more i watched the more i realized how he really is the prodigy, He is really really really good at what he does. The way frankie edgar fought him was bullshit, just running in and out slapping him a bunch. A real way to make a crowd hate you. I'd say Penn and St. Pierre are the 2 best all around and most consistend fighters in mma. The way hughes fights has never changed, he is just really good at wrestling, ground and pound, and a few submissions. One of the best. That has never changed but works really well on most fighters, but penn is far from average.

I gotta go with Rampage and Hughes. Rampage is comin back with a vengance and Penn doesnt have a chance if he shows up like he has in his past couple of fights. If Machida wins it will be by decision, but I think Rampage is gonna catch him with a mean hook and take him down.

I think Machida's style really frustrates rampage. I think the dragon will win. As for Penn and Hughes, I think Penn will take it. I still think he is better than Hughes.
