Vitor is actually one of my first ever favorites
My dad used to bring home recorded UFC VHS tapes from a co-worker, who taped them, back in the early/mid-90's
We used to love watching Tank Abbot... then he brought home a tape one day and this 19 year old kid came in and absolutely swarmed and decimated him
    We both went: :eek::eek:

He was my favorite for quite a while after that
Good to see that he's making a such a run at it today, like 10 or more years later
Will always root for that guy... but, I do really like Weidman quite a bit now too... haha

    Oh greatest fighter.

Until next week when some new guy is the greatest fighter. Then some new fighter is the greatest fighter. After some other guy comes out and is the greatest fighter.

    UFC still exists?

he wasnt the same after his sister was kidnapped and murdered. glad to see hes back and as bad as ever.

we used to rent ufc from the video store around the corner. i started watching in the late 90s. had no idea how those brazilians kept winning when the hugged dudes lol.

its like saying football sucks since they stopped using leather helmets and guys stopped dying on the field. its sad that your tiny brain cant wrap itself around that the fact that this sport is at its greatest point and climbing. these are no longer 1 sided fights.

seriously, why? no reason to come into this thread. the thread isnt titled "moose jizzes maple syrup." just cause this isnt hockey.

    AND HERE WE GO!!!

this is from an MMA forum:

    "Billy L. Sonya

Weidman shouldn't get any respect, both of the fights were won by luck. He wouldn't of won this fight if it wasn't for Silva breaking his leg, same goes for the first fight, if Silva wasn't being stupid and stopped showing off he would of whipped Weidmans ass. Weidman sucks imo and just gets lucky in his fights."

I wonder if people actually believe these things they're saying...

Yeah, Chris Weidman became a 2X All American Wrestler and is at 11-0 in the UFC; including back-to-back wins over a guy who hadn't been beat in 7 years cause he's a lucky sort of guy
Crap... I might try out this MMA thing; I've always been purdy lucky

We gotta give Weidman props for that fight. The guy proved everyone wrong in thinking that he was just a one hit wonder against Silva. I have always been an Anderson Silva fan, still am even though he made horrible decisions toward the end of his reign as the champ. He deserves respect for defending the title 7 years!

    Bottom line, congrats Chris Weidman!

That was great to watch. Travis is a BEAST! Barnett looked "out", even before all the elbows came in.

browne was getting the shit kicked out of him by overeem. too bad overeem is no longer on the juice and cant close fights. deja vu though with that knockout and his last fight lol.

barnett was out when he got the knee, 1 elbow in and he was in lala land, then like 5 more landed. that got a bit hairy.
