Here are my thoughts...

Leonardo Santos VS Kevin Lee - Lee
Warlley Alves VS Colby Covington - Covington
Tecia Torres VS Jocely Jones-Lybarger - I would be lying to you if I told you that I knew who Lybarger is...so I will take the easy pick with Torres
Urijah Faber VS - Frankie Saenz - I really hope that Faber gets back on track. I'll take Faber for the W by submission.

Max Holloway VS Jeremy Stephens - Holloway
Demian Maia VS Gunnar Nelson - Maia
Jacare VS Yoel Romero - I think that Jacare is too good on the ground for ANYONE and submits the beast Romero.
Chris Weidman (MW Champ) VS Luke Rockhold (Tacoma Owner) - Rockhold is Weidman's toughest competitor to date I think. Even tougher than Silva because Silva didn't ALWAYS give 100% (one reason he got KO'd by Weidman). I think that Weidman squeeks out a majority decision.
Jose Aldo (THE Featherweight Champion) VS Conor McGregor (Interim Featherweight Champion) - Aldo takes this by unanimous decision if he doesn't knock him out late in the fight. McGregor's a good fighter, beating everyone the UFC had him fight...but I think he was hyped up a bit and pushed a little too fast.

...I'm no expert, but those are my picks.

Jocely Jones-Lybarger fights under the Invicta banner. Not really too familiar with her myself, just know that because she has a twin sister, who also fights actually. So in her fight with Tecia, I'll take the easy pick as well. And also because Tecia is part Portuguese so I have to root for my own!

The Connor hype train is about to get derailed, and the UFC will have to learn the hard way not to hype a fighter like that anymore, just like they have been with Ronda.

 

Faber on prelims has me shaking my head. I really hope he DOES get back on track and get it goin. He's got a couple years left in him. I wanna see him work his way up to beating the fuck outta TJ Dildoshaw!!!


I've been a McGregor fan (not just cuz i'm Irish) since seeing him fight in lower promotions. That's my boy...no matter how cocky people thinks he's actually a great dude behind the scenes. He just does what he does to fuck with opponents heads and I commend him for it.

You got great picks man. Same as me except for main event. Maia vs Nelson ought to be a crapshoot. Can't wait for that one.

 

I want Aldo to win. Only because I am seeing McGregor like Rousey her last fight. He's a cocky douche, and I hope he gets knocked out in 10 seconds. I know Aldo is cocky, but he has been silent on this fight.

 

On a side note...not related to this card, but I heard this morning that Holm VS Rousey II is slated for July 2016.

Personally, I think that Holm beats her again.

It's BS that the UFC/Dana would make Holm wait that long just to fight and beat her ass again. I understand that she's head and shoulders about the rest of the division, Ronda is, but it's not fair to make Holm wait. She needs to make money, aside from the Reebok deal and sponsorships, so she's basically not earning jack shit till then. Either the UFC/Dana needs to move that fight way up, or they need to let her fight someone else sooner.

 

I'd take a sponsorship's payout over a fight paycheck all day.

 

Depends on how much you make from either one. Based on what I know and have read, I doubt she's getting much from the Reebok deal based on how it works. So in this case, you might be right. She might be getting more from a sponsorship then she would from a fight paycheck. But I'm sure she wouldn't be opposed to getting both checks, together.

 

I hope!!! I made some cashola on the last fight. My buddies didn't believe me when I said Holm would whoop her ass. I hate Trailer Trash Rousey with a passion. Fucking douchebag. The excuses I'm reading online since she lost has got me the lulz!!!!!! Excuses excuses and Dana doucher White with his man crush on Rousey is all bummed she lost. Whatever!!!! Holly ain't a boxing champ by fluke. She's an all around level headed ,non arrogant, appreciative badass!!!

 

I'd be salty as fuck if I was her, she just destroyed the highest touted Female MMA fighter in the World. Now, she has to wait for the obligatory rematch due to all the hype Ronda has surrounding her. If Holly had dominated like that against anyone else, the earliest a rematch could have come around would be a year and a half, if the first fight's loser won the interim fights.

 

Plus getting Holly back on TV when she's primed and ready would be a better choice also for ratings and shit. Dana will cater to whatever Trailer Trash Rousey wants and needs to get her back on top.

 

From what I've seen and read, even her post fight interview inside the cage and on the post fight show on FS1, she seems super nice and genuine, as well as appreciative. I know this gets thrown around a lot, but in this case it definitely applies, it couldn't have happened to a batter person, seriously. Plus I think she's kinda hot... who am I kidding, not kinda, SHE IS!

 

Agreed. From what I read, her coach made her hold back against everyone else on purpose as to not show her full capability, knowing very well, or hoping at least, that one day she'd fight Ronda, and then would "unleash" all she has and knows. Paid off for sure if that was the strategy indeed.

 

Ronda has Dana by the balls... or lack there of I should say, since he's a pussy and is clearly in love with her. Too bad she's dating wife beater Travis Brown already, so Dana ain't getting any anytime soon.

I'll agree that Dana often doesn't do what's best for fighters or even cards in some instances, but I don't think that he really is a fanboy for any Fighter. I see him only doing what makes money, so with Ronda undefeated and downing fighters left and right of course he is going to hype her as much as humanly possible. That doesn't mean he is in Ronda's corner, he just wants every fight to be worth as much money as possible. Now he will hype Holly like crazy...

I remember him riding Anderson Silva's wave before he broke his leg and piled up a couple losses.

 

Holly totally deserves it. She worked and trained her ass off to the hilt to win that fight. I loved how gnarly and violent it was. I'm hoping Rousey's high horse finally ran off to greener pastures!!!!!

 

I think he's doing the same thing with Connor right now. Not giving Aldo his due respect, being that HE IS the champ of the division, and all Connor is right now is just the # 1 challenger. I get that he's just trying to hype the fights, to make money, but seems like he crosses the line when it comes to "picking sides". But that's just my opinion, nothing else.
