I'm averaging 4,500 miles/year. At this rate solar radiation is going to wear my truck out before I do!

Mine had 3 miles on it in November 2016. 38.5k now.

I plan to buy a toy car next year and use it more, so Tacoma should get driven less. I still need a truck to go out in the country and play on the weekend.

If I was running that kind of mileage Michelins would be the only tire I would consider.

I got 65k out of my falkens before they started getting sketchy in the rain and I bought new ones, if I live in a dryer climate I'd have kept them longer.

    See my build page!
I drive 45 miles to work and 45 back. But, in fairness...I have driven from Virginia to Alabama and back, Virginia to Maine and back and from Virginia to Michigan and back...So I guess my number are a little inflated.

    I have 294,000 on my 1996 4Runner, so about 13k a year.
That guy doing 45k in a year whoa! My butt is numb thinking about that! What is your yearly fuel cost?!

First Tacoma I bought was an sr5 brand new in 2015. After first year had over 25k on it but was my everywhere vehicle since we didn’t have a third vehicle. After purchasing a third vehicle later on, miles went down quite a bit on the truck and traded it in after 4-1/2 years with 88,500 miles. My new 2019 has between 1-2k on it now. Only reason it even has that much is because I wanted to keep driving it early to get a feel for it and run it through what everyone calls the break in cycle. Plus see if the darn thing could learn my driving style and learn how to shift normal. That still hasn’t happened of course.

Anyway my truck will be driven every time I need to go somewhere pretty much except work. If long trips for family getaways probably will not take the Tacoma since it’s by far the worst for fuel mileage unless it’s a one tank there and one tank back type of trip.

    So.
Let’s say you get 19 MPG average. Low
And fuel is 3 dollars a gallon.
That’s $24897 spent on gas. :anonymous:

Haha funny question. When I got it about a month later my 4x4 got stuck so warranty replaced the whole gear box I believe. Then about at about 135k miles I had starter issues and replaced it..pain in the back to change it out.

I try to keep up with maintenance by
    Oil/filters every 8-10k miles.
Change out all fluids 75k miles
    Rotate tires every 4 months
    By truck stuff every month
Haha that’s another taco right there hu? Your math is pretty close, I spend around $27k on gas not including maintenance and insurance....kind of a bonus my company pays for all that stuff.

I have 11,000 miles (19000 km) on my '18 after (almost) one year.

Mainly because I bought a side by side to drive around town in. They're road legal up here.
