so I got rear ended today. Doesn’t look that bad, but right side of bumper pushed in about 1 inch which caused quarter panel to have dented where bumper meets panel below the light. About 2 inch dent by the lip.

Should body shop fix or replace fender. What should I watch out for?

Was also thinking would this be a good time to look at a more agreesive bumper. Any good shops in the Philadelphia suburbs area?

That sucks but some aftermarkets like pelfrey or demello may have some options.

At least it wasn’t as bad as mine was (via uninsured motorist)

That sucks. I hope vehicle damage was the extent of the accident. Yep, time for a nice new bumper.

I backed into someone today when I backed out of my parking spot. :annoyed:

I'm going with Mobtown Offroad's bumper. Think theirs looks better than the rest and I have lots of their other gear anway. Good luck with whatever you decide!

If you’re referring to mine, there was frame damage and no it wasn’t totaled :(

They had to cut the rear section of the ladder frame and weld in a new piece. Picture shows direction of damage.

Don't need them on until you need them for off road unless you don't mind the noise they make, get lost, or people steal them.

Ah, good point. In that location you'd probably get some rattle. What kind of monster steals a shackle?

Be prepared to pay a little rental if the fab shop drags there feet.. If your gonna do a rear bumper order it now. Insurance companies do not pay rental for parts holds due to custom aftermarket parts. Only oem and oem equivalent .
