Ugliest Color for 2nd Gens

SWB is the BEST!!! IMO

 

Red= girl color
Desert Sand= old man color
Silver= girl color or bi-sexual color
Dark colors= hard to keep clean
White= cable company truck

I hate to say it but I really don't care for the Sand. To each their own!

 

I don't "hate" any color. There are some that do not appeal to me, or are too high maintenance to keep looking clean. For the Tacoma they are the black, white, red (mine is this color), and the blue. Black is too hot, white too bland, red too much of an eye catcher with the law, the blue is just a strange shade. Had my truck been silver, it would have been perfect. Since the color was literally the only thing that was a concession on the whole package, I pulled the trigger.

 

Indigo would have been my 1st choice, but I got a deal on a used Silver Streak so it's growing on me!

 

desert sand and the blue are not my favorites, but they also are not that bad. i guess i had to choose.

 

I like my Desert Sand Mica. It is a nice low key color. I could have bought any color on the lot, but I wanted the Desert Sand Mica. I guess it is low key and I do not have a lift kit and I have no desire to paint my wheels black or f'up my grill, so I can see why those who are into such things would not care for a low key color.

 

I'm not sure how Desert Sand Mica is winning. I think it is a good color. Guess I'm not "flashy" enough for some people....

My order of preference was:

MGM
Timberland
Desert Mica
Silver
BSP
White
Blue
Red

I actually like all the colors but the Red and Blue are a little too "loud" for me. I liked the maroon-ish color from the 1st gens though (not sure of the actual name of the color).
