I would just like to say that the hunter green (or whatever that hideous color is) has got to be God's punishment to man. That thing is the ugliest color I have ever seen in all the lands.

In fact, last week, I parked next to one. It was so ugly, I moved and spent the next 10 minutes finding a new parking spot in a very tight lot just specifically to not uglify me or my truck by radiation or osmosis or anything.

    YUCK!

None of the above. On this very site I have seen kick-ass trucks in every color. I personally wouldn't choose blue, red, or white, and I think silver is too common, but I have nodded approvingly at what other members have done with their trucks in those colors. To each his own.

    :D :D :D

I wasn't gonna saying anything in this thread until I saw this response. That's just funny right there, I don't care who ya are.

I've always liked the hunter green type colors, but I never had one until I got my '11 in Timberland Mica.

I like the silver, even if it is all over the place. My '01 was silver, and like others have mentioned, silver hides dirt, dings, and scratches very well. And since silver IS all over the place, it's easy to blend in, if that's what you prefer. I was actually gonna get a silver '11 until I ran across the green one.

White's okay. I prefer it on the base models with black bumpers & flares. I think it's a little too much white when everything's color matched.

Not a huge fan of the various reds, for whatever reason, but I've had a red truck, and I've seen some very nice ones here.

Same for black - not a huge fan (guess I don't want the job of keeping it clean), but I've seen some very nice ones here.

Don't like the bright blues much. I've always liked the darker blues, but not the bright blues such as Speedway Blue. Not knocking the color, as I've seen some nice ones out there. Guess it's just not my style.

I was totally against Pyrite Mica when I was truck shopping. Since seeing all the pics of Pyrite trucks here, it's really grown on me... Enough that I'd definitely consider it if I have it to do over again.

I guess in short, I probably couldn't pick an "Ugliest" color for the Taco. They all are fully capable of looking good. That said, there are definitely some colors that are better than others. Timberland Mica, for example... :D

I had a few white trucks in my time rangers and Explorers..(15 years in Southern Nevada will do that to ya... ) But I did not care for the white Taco and did not know why until I read your statement. The painted fender flares are not a favorite thing of mine(in any color) But in white they are too much and I don't care for the black strip between the flare and the body.

White is the easiest next to silver to ignore as far as dings and cleaning. :D

believe it or not, I am not crazy about the color of my truck. I am seriously considering having it redone in a flat tan.

Pyrite Mica. That was the only color I wouldn't consider when buying my truck. It reminded me of my old black Taco when it was dirty. Although I never wanted a green vehicle, I fell in love with my timberland mica when I saw it in the showroom. Was originally gonna get black (again), silver, or red. Still drool over the black and silver ones though and wonder if I made the right choice. Green looks good when clean.

Oh HELL no...I love my rugged Trail TRD with the unpainted natural Tupperware....:D

The painted fender flares IMO look aftermarket and cheap....Problem for me is the gloss doesn't match up with the truck and the color keyed everything else makes it look more like a Lincoln MK LT or "Limited" version than a rugged looking PU truck.. I would not mind it so much if it wasn't everything and matched the metal.

But Toyota is doing that on all but the base models now I for one am glad to have found the Rugged Trail edition. A Pox on Toyota for painthing that Tupperware so terribly.

Plus no worries about chipping or car doors....

A small handful of select mods.
Picked Speedway blue. I just don't like that color. Although it turns out the color of my truck (Desert Sand) isn't favored very much either. To each his own.

I chose my color because at the time there were very few out there in that color and everyone had a SWB truck. I wanted something different and hell with just light dirt on it you can't tell it's dirty. :D

They call it "Gwatdam" Blue here..Neighbor has one.....Can see it a mile away.

I like silver blends in doesn't attract attention in parking lots. unpainted flares make it look stock so...... "nothing to see here move on"....

Yes indeed.....You spend your youth trying to be noticed so ya put soup cans in your ears and ink your bodys, wear Hollister and listen to Drop D power chord bands all to "stand out" or make thier trucks look alike with blacked out grills, 12 " lifts, 5% tinted windows......

When you get older you realize standing out is overrated because the days of approval seeking were gone after 40....Oh what a relief it is!!You have another 13 years of flag planting....and he struggle to stand apart from the crowd but not too far out, less ridicule rears its ugly head...its a balancing act that goes away with age... :D
