White and sliver are the cheapest colors a manufacturer offers. I hate them both--white only slightly less than silver. Greens and blues top my list of favorites--therefore I love my Timberland Mica, the new Spruce Mica is cool too, Nautical Blue would be a next pick then Speedway. Red is too much for me BUT I'd take it if the blues and greens were off the table. Pyrite Mica isn't bad Black is cool and last Magnetic Grey is OK but I've already gone there when I had my Gunmetal Ram

I had two opportunities to pick up speedway blue ones at a decent price but passed. I told some friends that I used to work with in the car buisness to be on the look out. Both leads were the blue. They even said they were old age units. There is a saying in the car buisness, "No Sale Blue" & "Stay Around Brown". It never fails to remain true.

I thought this before I bought my last Tacoma. I wasn't picky at the time though and just told my sales guy to find me what I wanted in my price range. Low and behold he gives me a call a few days later, I come out to see it and it's a silver Tacoma. I still think they look pretty generic and are too abundant, but they look a lot less-so after you lift and mod it a bit.

I agree. That is a great color. I've only seen one Tacoma in Timberland Mica, days before I purchased a black Tacoma, and I almost considered the green over black. With black wheels and tinted windows, it was exceptional. (And then, all Tacomas I've seen look exceptional with tint, black wheels and a lift.)

I enjoy reading all these opinions. The colors are such a matter or personal preference.

I love my black Tacoma. I hate all my scratches.

Did not vote, I would take any of the colors. They're all better colors than my first truck, a '74 Datsun in that special shade of baby-shit yellow Nissan did so well back in the day. I loved that truck...

I've had four cars and two trucks in my life (I drive them into the ground). Three of them have been white. Just bought my first white truck. Not sure I like looking like a job site vehicle, but it's nice to open that baby up on a sunny day and not have the inside be as hot as an oven. These Tacomas are damn fine vehicles, I was a Nissan guy for many, many years (both previous trucks and one car) but the Tacoma is a bigtime winner.

    I bounce it offa stuff.
I too hit up the "old man tan." We have a '10 Honda Odyssee that is that color, and I don't want my truck to match my van. I was stuck between between a Superwhite Prerunner and the Silver streak 4x4 when I bought mine. Figured I'd kick myself for not getting the 4wd, and color has never been super important to me- had a green explorer, blue f150, black f150, red escape (don't ask) and a rusty mazda mini truck with half a motor.

I voted Desert Sand Mica. There is one in the lot where I work and being kind: It's ugly!

I chose Silver Streak. I've been driving white trucks since 1986 and I was ready for a change. My other two cars are silver and they're pretty easy to take care of. Don't look dirty the day after a wash and seem to not show scratches like a dark color. I figured I plan to wheel the Taco a bit and most of the trails here in Florida seem pretty narrow.

I expect I'm really going to be tired of silver here in a couple of years, but one of the cars will probably be replaced about then and I'll get something a bit different.

I wanted to add, I like the Sand or gold color that Honda has on their Accords. I had an Accord in that color (wife's car) and it never looked dirty and looked good. There are a bazillion of them on the road though. Wonder what a Taco would look like in that color? The F150 is pretty sharp in their Sand/Gold color (almost bought one).

I figure anyone who takes their truck serious for what it is , has no problem with desert sand. I like that mine blends in with all the earth tones when hunting and going thru the mountains , unlike all the silly azz little kid colors out there.

Slanted poll. So the first listing has the highest total and where is "white"

    BTW, mine is Desert Sand.
