Who the hell would buy a red truck? Thats all sorts of wrong plus it has been medically proven that red makes up for low self esteem and also confusion in ones sexual identity.............................:help:

I voted for Desert Sand only because I have never seen one on the road. Not one Taco is ugly, no matter the color, but least popular must count for something!

I went with SSM but SWB gets me everytime. I absolutely adore it, but I think it looks best on the Sport model and I worried that the older I get the less I'd like it. *shrugs*

I too am not voting... It's all personal.
I wanted a White truck but I bought the Speeway Blue
Now after a month of owning it I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER :D
I see the whites, silvers and grays at every stop, so.....boreing.;)
I don't see many SWB's so my truck stands out, great in a large parking lot. I see it real fast.:bananadance:
But again, to each their own.

    Yuma Taco,

i've always liked silver cars the best...when they are dirty they still look clean...lol....black and white suck cuz you have to wash them all the time....my 2nd favorite was the speedway blue color...or maybe the dark grey....least favorites are the red and desert sand and green....but all of them look ok

I tend to shy away from red since my first new vehicle purchase in 1976 seemed to be accident prone. Faced with the available colour choices of silver or red or gray on the dealers lot and the urgency of how quickly I could take delivery, I chose the Tacoma in Barcelona Red. The 4X4 option wasn't part of my plan. It just happened.

All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and I get plenty of compliments from both sexes.

It's a nice looking truck and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

^ I hate that sig. How can you stand looking at it all the time?

I'm lovin' my Barcelona Red. It is a sexy truck and the RED makes it stand out from the rest. Some people like to blend in with silver, gray or white. I want people to notice my truck when I drive by because it's awesome!

Why have a white Tacoma? So it can look like all your local utility/delivery/service pickups? ;) Actually there are no ugly Tacoma colors - just different for different tastes. I have Speedway Blue just because it's not a typical truck color.

It would have been nice if the originator included all the colors offered for the 2nd Gens. I agree with some others, white is not my fav color for a vehicle at all but many truly like it so I'm not going to bash them for thier choice. I think Black looks great too however it shows any and all the defects in the metal/paint. I went with the Timberline Green. It's dark enough to look good but limit what defects are shown.
