I saw the new model (Ridgeline) at Walmart Sunday and I would trade my Tacoma for one so fast it would make your head spin!

Truth. The Brat, Santa Cruz, the old Ford Explorer Sport Trac all offer a decent multi-role vehicle for the average home owner that doesn't want to buy three mission specific vehicles. But the group that thinks every vehicle must be able to navigate the Rubicon need to justify spending a ton of cash to make their vehicle worse when driven on road.

Its not that bad. More like a modern day El Camino.
Id rather have one of those than a ridgeline.
edit: I didnt read to the end of the thread before i posted...

You don't have to go far to realize the sickness is everywhere.

Nope. But they have rules now. Front and rear bumper have to be within four inches of level between them.
I had wet mulch in my truck. It squatted. And peed.

    Work in progress...
It all depends on what direction you are traveling and how you look at it. I remember when that dang ole Chevy Avalanche first came out. I thought that was the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Now days I see one of those Avalanches and think they are super cool looking. Now that Pontiac Aztec was and still is a heap of ugly in all bolted together in one spot in my book. But, hey, many folks on TW think my tacoma is awful ugly. It all depends on the direction your traveling and the weather conditions.

Yeah, but it's just a portion of the plastic sandwich baggy.
