Haha. I have nice 8” red wing w composite toe but at the shop I wear timberlines are converse all stars. In summer I will wear all stars or flip flops unless I’m grinding.

Finally figured out how to keep this pig in place while cycling. I think I have the steering figured out. At 24.5 frame height I have 6” up all day long right now w bulky shaft and motor mounts. Have to cut frame mount for trac down but steering seems fine. Just have to get the flat pitman on.

Tac on the trac mount broke before I could get better pics.

Been doing tile jobs and trim work instead of working on my damn land yacht. But, Trail gear pitman arm works but super close. 6.5” eye to eye. Shoulda got the sky 5.8” Gotta move gear like 1/2” more forward to be safe.

Next time I post pics it’s gonna be steering, trac mounted and ready for links. I only drank beer, pumped the Jack and stared at it deeply for 2 hrs tonight. Progress maybe.

I know the feeling, when building something like this. Hang in there, it will get better and definitely be worth it.

Thanks man. Yeah it’s been a frustrating week and a half. Today was better cause I could cycle and things seem to work as long as axle housing doesn’t come forward too much on up travel.

It’s so tight. It’s like drag, tie rod, pan. Like 1/4 inch max between them. Shoulda took a pic. I’m gonna tac then slam both sides. If that works then I should be good.

1.75” dom trac and upper link may have to change to 1.5. It’s that tight.

Yeah, it is about 2 inches from hitting. The trac mount is about 2.5" in front of axle and it clears that at full steer as well. Yeah it looks close in the pics but its more roomy from the side.

Lol. Already fucked up and welded one on a few weeks ago that didn’t work.

This one sat half done and got cycled many a times before I committed to welding.
