Thats sweet! That would be really nice! Those axles are awesome man! If I didn't have the lift I would do something like that. The 520 is adjustable. Can raise and lower it. Its actually perfect for axles. Ghetto but works. I want the damn thing to be under the car!

That probably work better because you're able to raise and lower.

Idk yet. Just trying to get all the t case/trans stuff done so I can get the pinion angle figured out. Am I gonna have issues with the frame twisting or bending without boxing it?

Just as much as usual I'd guess, but I'll be doing it to mine eventually. If you go hard, you might think about it down the line. Some swear boxing is the way and others say just go full tilt and cage.

I would highly recommend boxing the inner c frame and plate the outer as well.

Ill prob take a look at the frame once im done with the sas and see how much flex it has I guess and make a decision then. Its easy to get underwater on builds like this and then you never get done. I don't want that to happen. lol

Grainger. At the time, they were cheaper there vs Ebay/Amazon. Ridgid #56662 got them for cutting pipes but work for what I use them for.

The new ridgid designed is collapsible, which I think is not as HD as the non-foldable. They're rated for 2500lbs each.

i just talked to Marlin and he said his coupler won’t fit in the tg housing. He said it hits or something. Looks almost the exact same in pic. Is that true or no?

Took trans apart today. May just swap the shaft and be done with it. This case is shit.

They got bad info. Many folks I know run tg adapters with MC 4.7 and MC coupler without issue

You don't think plating the outside in addition to boxing it is a bit overkill compared to just boxing it?

Nope. Same concept as the front. Why plate it when it's square from factory. It's added insurance and cheaper to get it done right the first time. Plus I'm not on leaf so there's more frame twist in the rear

    Fair point.
What plates are those. The TG ones I have don't cover that same length.
