It hurts a little.... I thought about just running tri layer $25 generic brand strap but figure I'll end up regretting and probably buy replacement after a few years. Seen these straps in person and they look nice and thick. I like the aluminum sleeve they added to prevent strap damaged at the buckle. Pulled the trigger and need to get them welded on sometime this week.

I paid 200 each diff for labor. I supplied all the parts

Not my first time going with this shop as well. Use them on multiple occasions already.

Those are really nice! Like the rest of that fucking rig!

I have those tabs in steel but since I changed my shock mount I’m just using one shock mount tab instead of the tabs. Do t feel like cutting them off.

Thats crazy! I heard 800-1000 each for the ford and 500-750 for the 14 bolt. There is no way someone could do the ford for less than 500 even if they do them all day.

You have ford 9” in that housing? I gotta look up how to gear them.

I thought they put ford 9” in those housings. Do you use crush washers on those to get preload?

I thought about running the f9 but end up running all Toyota parts. Got a sweet deal on 3 complete 9.5 for $400. So now I have a spare open third with 5.29 as a trail spare.

Since I went to the LS I kinda have to have the tons, especially w what I want the truck for but if I lived in ca and just used it for rocks I would have just got those same axles you have. Light and clean. Prob fucking cheaper at the end of the day.

I’ve seen before but it’s been a while. You have the pic of both the axles before they went on truck? Wanted to see them again.

Geez. Those things are so nice! I like the clearance for one and the 3rd member as well! Super easy to fix even on a trail. Do those things have like chromoly shafts too?

I do a lot of solo hunting during winter months. There's time even with locked front and rear on ice and I'm just spinning on 35s. Had to put in chain on all 4 to gain traction. Figure I'll make them for the 40s as well. It's cheaper to make vs buying

How did you link the chain? Or did you modify a pair to fit? I want those!

Those diffs have the spinner like the 14 bolt. Makes it so much nicer to regear!

That engine bay is nice as shit but damn! You are maxed out!

For the snow chain? I cut the last link, twist the link to open and placed the side chain in. Then twist it back closed and weld it.

As for the engine bay, there's no more room now. At least in the picture, there's some. Now, both tower protrude into the engine bay and the PSC resovior is placed between the firewall and cruse control area.

oh shit. I was wondering how you were gonna get those 14’s in there! The first part I took off my truck was the cruise! Lol. Never used it on any vehicle I’ve ever had.

I use the CC all the time. Especially on long trip.

The 14s are all in. Test fit and will be pulling them out after I weld on the limit strap mount to paint.

Did you do max up travel and set them eye to eye on max compression or set to ride height to mount?
