How many fun coupons did you drop on your engine? I'm thinking about an LS for another application, less rocks-more sideways.

Well, the motor trans was like 2g’s but if I was to it over again I could have cut that in half and been better off w a long block. If you want my input pm me and I’ll tell you everything I know as of now. Too much vehicle specific shit that may or may not apply to you to start rambling about here.

Where in NW NJ are you?

@ToyRyd04 I can maybe TW express it to you if you are in no rush and wanted the bigger EVAP shit. IIRC you have yours over the gas tank and not in the engine bay like me.

Yeah if he is in NW jersey it's going to be either near my parents/wife's parents or further NW like Steve and then we can figure something out from there. Going to attempt to do one day of Takeover again this year so I figured I would see you there.

rockaway? More like north central nj :p joking obvi, I grew up in Asbury, just north of clinton, in warren county. Always considered nw being warren/Sussex but that’s splitting hairs. Used to go to rockaway mall a bunch growing up or pass right by going to mountain creek when i worked in old bridge.

either way I am sure if Greg needed something big we could figure something out. Loving the build btw, there is no way I would have the patience something like this requires, or at least not at this point in my life. Cant wait to see it tearing it up at rausch creek. You planning to cage it after all is said and done?

I’m like 2 miles from Rockaway mall.

Thanks man. Yeah, it’s been a tough build but working through it. I’m not gonna do any cage work til at least next year. Don’t have the time or money til then. But, Rausch creek for sure.

Lol. When I’m done it won’t have one single emissions item left on it. They won’t even let me drive through Cali.

Yes they will. If you're visiting, dumb California emission law don't apply to you. You are only bound to what the state your vehicle is registered in.

Same with front window tint; they see a different state plate and they'll leave it alone.

Yep. The only law your vehicle must abid to is the state for which your vehicle is registered to.

What I see happened in the past as vehicle get impounded is because the vehicle is registered out of state but the registered owner reside in California, have a valid California driver's license, and proof of insurance is in California. As long as you have a valid out of state driver's license, vehicles registration is from the state your driver's license is in, and proof of insurance is from your state; you can not be held to California standards. You *may* get harassed and pulled over but as long as you're a visitor with a time frame of leaving California, cops can not cite you unless you get caught doing something stupid such as street racing.
