I hope. Seems like it. Had it all flexed out and the lower link mount broke off the axle and almost took a bunch of shit out w it. Took an hour to get that axle lined back up.

Prob. you would be surprised how how much strain the axle causes. My motor still has 4 tacs per mount and it’s been fine.

Oh I bet; I can't imagine doing any of the work you're doing.

I'd be frustrating myself with clearance and all only to punch a baby panda in a fit of rage cause the link mounts broke.

Awesome progress as always. What is the plan for keeping whatever is left of the front clip together?

Thanks man. Haven’t put any real planning into it yet. Unless I have radiator figment issues, I’m gonna keep the factory hood latch and I will just add some diagonal lateral support w 1/2” steel rod to connect driver and pass side of body to the frame w some type of rubber bushings. If it rattles like shit I’ll make changes till it stops.

Well, on the full weight of the shock the body dropped a little. At 24” frame height now. Shock 25.5 eye to eye. Hopefully when the coils are on it will stay a little higher. Can’t believe I’m saying this but it’s too low.

Wanted to take a nap after work but got my shit together, cleaned shop and finished the driver side. Official roller! 25.5” ride but the front is super squishy. Me sitting on bumper lowers it like 2” almost. So, I’m prob gonna have to load the coils down w the retainers.

Well it’s been a while since I did something extremely dumb fabricating but I did again. Surprised nobody said anything. @02hilux asked me what kind of race booster I was using. I was like uhhhh, forgot about that thing.

    B8525698-D9AE-4B7C-820E-5EDE40551055.jpg 122E6261-0F72-47AF-BFC1-724A424CBFD0.jpg

This is the problem w fabbing w half the parts on the truck. As obvious as shit is you just get tunnel vision and now what is like an hr fab change is like 3hrs cause the truck is rolling and I gotta go back to stands and no wheels and remove coils etc etc! Fuck!

Get fancy. Do a mechanical linkage and angle tje booster 45 degrees to clear. Or build a hole in the shock tower out of plate for the booster to sit in.

the booster gave me big issues and limited my coilover placement.
