Got a cool new tool for all the tig I have to do. Wanna say thanks to @Kwikvette for casually convincing me how good this welder is. It may not be a blue Ferrari but smells nice and goes just as fast for 1/6th the price.

Well, def need a shit ton of improvement on the tig side. Prob chose the worst possible thing to start tig’n on after so long.

Cast SS to tubing is hard and you throw in the angles and obstacles and it’s basically a nightmare. Gonna come back tomorrow w food in my stomach and a chair to sit on. Maybe a little better.

Glimpses of good but mostly very inconsistent. Tried a weave and reg feed on cast. Weave seemed to be a little better. Prob gonna redo the tube to tube. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it together.

    Getting it together a little.

I’m totally cool with the amperage. Gonna flatten out the pulse a bit to make the puddle more wet but otherwise it’s just me not making consistent dabs and running straight.

I owe you for this one man! This welder is so damn nice. Idk about aluminum but it welds stainless as good or better than my dynasty. Also, I ordered a ck9 torch head and you just screw it on. So easy!

What's funny is, even though you've had experience with really nice TIG welders, I was not afraid give a nod to the Primeweld.

Showed you this last weld but I'll post it on here for kicks

    yeah, it’s good.

I love that weld. Been practicing on ss. Can do it for about 2” on pipe. Did you feed that each time you got to the outside?
