I will say their sliders can't be beat for the price, especially since they are DOM. I beat the piss out of mine, only minor denting.

Yeah, they do have a lot of nice stuff and it’s one click away. Unlike Marlin where you wait for 6 months for an adaptor.

I always told myself I would never make sliders but my bank says otherwise.

Yep. Nice work BTW. I'm telling you, when you think you're done with it, you end up doing something else to it....

    Aren't they heat treated?

So yeah they're C channel so far from being as strong as a fully boxed frame but they should hold up well for the average person.

That boxing of your frame is looking sharp!

The fab part of me LOVES the dimple die frame boxing. The NJ salt has me concerned.

I know. I’m soooooo close to being done fabbing though. I’m over it. Just wanna make shit at my house that I can walk away from for a week. It’s been a hard year.

They are heat treated now! Lol

I like it too. Super slick looking. Im gonna have an 1/8” of chassis saver on that whole shit. Gonna spray inside if brush won’t get it all. That was honestly the reason I started putting holes in it. Wasn’t for looks. It was to paint the damn thing inside!

This is 3/4 of one side done. Took me 2 hours to Fab x-brace and weld this fucker. Had to keep skipping around cause of heat so not great for nice clean runs but I figure the dimple die holes will distract the average critique. Lol

Started off strong then started getting tired and lazy.

    178DC1C6-9D73-4EF4-83DC-9381302E7C83.jpg

Did the x-brace then removed rear factory one. Did another then removed the second. I wasn’t a fan of where they were located anyway. Now there is one at shock towers and one almost in the rear. Plus the other one for the anti wrap. She’s fuerte!

As long as you fluid film the fuck out of it before you hit the salt you’ll be good. Been keeping my 2016 frame looking new since then.

Im gonna chassis saver the shit out of it and put a water hose ports so I can wash inside. Gotta see how I can get fluid film in there to keep her nice and lubed up long term.

Cali people would laugh at you for being proud of a rust free 2016.:rofl::rofl:

Got the other side kinda done. Having gas issues. Idk why but was welding like shit so stopped and called it.

Redid the pass side diff at the rear by bumper where the plates meet the cross bar cause I didn’t like the first setup and it’s better for corrosion. Looks 10x better I think.

All about the dimple die. Figured out how to do it nice now. These holes are way cleaner than the main plates were.

Fabrication on a large scale is officially done. First coat of paint on frame. Forgot to take a pic. Putting back together Friday. Got some goodies today.

This thing right here is fucking garbage! Idgaf how many rock buggy’s or prerunners have them. WINTERS GARBAGE! The only thing it’s good for is testing my patience and blowing my mind. Its a straight up autozone special on so many levels and whoever thinks otherwise deserves one. I can’t believe that I have this in my truck. Fuck!
